How many of you accidentally made one?

Hey I've never posted here and I found out I have a tulpa on March 28th 2023. I had accidently made one without any knowledge of what one was. 

 

I'm not sure when but it feels like she's been here with me for forever. I started talking to a friend again recently and she brought up she had a few tulpas now. I started looking into it because I've always idly found stuff related interesting but the more I looked at the more it sounded way too familiar until I got hit with anxiety that wasn't mine and a wall of tears and I heard "no! Stop!" It really freaked me out at the time and since then I've mended things. Since then I've worked with her and she has a name, a loose form, and her voice is separating from my head voice slowly. 

 

I also started journalling because it seems when I interact with Ava and I come back to I have difficulty remembering what happened. It was concerning but I'm not worried. It's a Google doc if anyone wants it.

My two oldest tulpas were accidental, and I'm sure many others on this site have had at least one accidental tulpa.

The process was really rather enjoyable. (Well, the bits that weren't emotionally overwhelming, at least.) Lots of writing got done.

I made Reisen (then Tewi and Flandre) on accident, though she could only talk in tulpish (~thought-feelings) for a long time until later Tewi and Flandre told me I was keeping her from speaking with my expectations for her to be perfect.

I'm a pretty introverted person.

 

So when the clay sculpture of my fifth-grade cartoon on my dresser started to seem full of life, I just had to speak my mind to it.

When I was a high schooler/ young adult, struggling with my religion, I would pray to 'god', and get disembodied responses of feelings and emotions i thought was God answering back. I now understand this almost telepathic style of communication to be tulpish. 

 

I have a very active NSFW mind, and would "imagine" alot. For more detailed info, please check out my progress reports thread. Let's just say, I am now in my 40's, and one of my characters spoke to me completely out of the blue in the middle of an imagined scene. After about a week I found this website, and a week worth of meditation, conversation and self reflection, Char (my tulpa) and I agree she has been with me in the background all the way back to my high school days, but was hidden behind the 'god' facade and speaking in tulpish for the last 25 something odd years. That was a year ago. She now has her own profile on here, and she fronts sometimes here and on a fetish websight every once in a while, enjoying her new digital lease on life.
