This thread needs to lighten up, so here's something I thought was funny: a few ancient artifacts of Bee's past we unearthed while packing.

 

A postcard a friend got signed at a convention Bee couldn't attend, circa 2012. The top left signature is the TF2 Sniper, and the rest are members of some bands Bee liked. She remembers losing her mind over that "sup girl"

 

And from around the same time, this picture Bee drew to represent herself? We think? It was definitely some pointless busy work assignment for school. The different sections represented her love of nature/biology, art/writing, robots, and creepy monsters. It's really funny to me how little her interests have changed over the past decade

OMG! I forgot to comment on this. 

 

That's probably a very valuable postcard, literally and sentimentally. 😄

 

From that drawing, I can tell we have very similar tastes. I really like all the details. 😊 I especially like the monsters and animals frames. Those monster are really cool, even if I can't see much of them. 😆

We appreciate the support. Thankfully, it seems like it was a one-off experience brought on a moment of really high stress, and nothing similar has happened since. We also started looking into the IFS model, which has given us some clarity about the whole thing. We're all doing fine.

Today is the big drive to our new home. I convinced Bee to get up for one last sunrise over the Atlantic. I love sunrises... she loves sleeping in :P

That is really beautiful. („★0★„) Definitely worthwhile to get up so early. Nightfall is the same way, he prefers to stay in bed. I don't really know which one I like more. 😁

Had to give a shoutout to my little Gemini birthday twins~ Calliope turned 2 today, and Bee/our body turned 29 a couple days ago. We celebrated appropriately by attending twin Metallica concerts. It was really more of a happy coincidence than an intentional plan. Bee’s husband bought the tickets ages ago, not knowing that Metallica was one of the first bands Calliope really responded to.

 

We let Callie front for both concerts. Normally we won't switch in around Mr. Bee, but this was a special occasion, so we made an exception. I was really impressed by how well Callie did, even if they almost gave us whiplash during Whiplash. They had no trouble holding the front while interacting with other people. We all had a really good time.
