Anna October 17, 2012 October 17, 2012 I tried asking in IRC but, there always seems to be at least two conversations going on at once... too confusing to try to figure out what an answers is. Is it possible to wake one's self up at a somewhat specific time during the night (X:00 or X:30, where X is any hour) without a tulpa? I am not referring to "trained" wakeup (waking up at a certain time to the point where your body is used to waking up then). Just.... wondering.
Picknick10 October 17, 2012 October 17, 2012 I use suggestion, try chanting "I will wake up at 1:30" or a different time over and over again as you go asleep
Chupi October 17, 2012 October 17, 2012 Yes. If the last thing you think as you fall asleep is that you will wake up at 7 AM, you likely will. It can be amazingly accurate too -- quite often when my father sets an alarm clock for himself, he wakes up 2 minutes before it goes off. Also, regarding time in general, I once viewed my internal clock somewhat directly: I was doing a visualization exercise, laying in bed with my eyes closed and imagining that I was standing across the room, looking at my body laying there. After doing various forms of this for who-knows-how-long, I looked over at my clock. I wasn't visualizing clearly enough to make out the numbers, but "3:24" popped into my mind. Curious, I opened my eyes to check -- it was 3:22. Frostwolf October 17, 2012 October 17, 2012 I woke up in the night last night because I asked if Lyra would try that strange waking up method she used on me the day Tessa appeared. Never has she been able to though but she can wake me up. Before I looked at the clock I asked what time it is. About 2AM she said. I looked at the clock, 3:05AM or something. So I don't know. They can certainly be wrong about time xD. It's not like they can perfectly tell time. You like my kitten? come on over for a closer inspection! Newbie tulpamancer on the loose. Oguigi October 17, 2012 October 17, 2012 yes it's possible and happens often to a lot of people. pix: Link Diary: http://ponystasha.tumblr.com Koomer.
