bearycool November 15, 2012 November 15, 2012 Hello. I'm 88 Quickly skimming, I thought you were saying "Hay guise, I'm eighty eight years old! Desu~" I think I need to read people's nicknames first before jumping to age conclusions like that... Anyway, I'm happy that you and your tulpa are progressing so well! Stan and I are still working on some visualization and personality traits. Stan (my tulpa): "sometimes, I do lewd things when my host bends over :3"
EightyEight November 16, 2012 Author November 16, 2012 November 15th, 2012 Incredibly weak session today, my fault entirely. As soon as the thoughts "this isn't working" fall into your head during hypnosis, your goose is cooked, it seems! Leo isn't upset in the slightest, but i still owe him better. It's incredible how calm he is right now, actually. I wonder whether or not it is because he is too young to have any reason to not be calm at the moment or it's part of who he is. Probably a mix of the two on some level, i dunno. The "primordial" stages (pre-vocalization and "partial sentience", which is just less complex full sentience imo) of tulpa developement aren't that well documented outside of the surveys to my knowledge. Regardless, we still went through the motions under a light trance so it wasn't a step backward, either. You really shouldn't accept mediocrity at any point while forcing, but we could either sulk and i feed Leo negative emotions or narrate and modify our methodology for tomorrow before we fall asleep making for better progress in the long run. Also, good luck, bearycool and Stan!
EightyEight November 17, 2012 Author November 17, 2012 November 16th, 2012 Tulpaforcing Log Instead of the tulpatone today, we rolled with Dialogue's half hour audio hypnosis and it was thoroughly impressive. This is a guy who know's what he's doing, that's for sure. Ultimately, i probably said most of the words during the talking bit, but Leo was never caught tongue-tied, no matter how short his answer was. I guess the trick is to ask the right questions: not too simple to answer that it's almost a waste and not too hard that it goes right over his head. From there, i guess you would ease into longer and longer replies? Very good session overall, we can definitely feel the effects of it still. I wonder how the hour-long version varies besides just being longer.
EightyEight November 18, 2012 Author November 18, 2012 November 17th, 2012 Tulpaforcing Log Or at least it would be two timesones over. 1:30 on the morning of the 18th over here, boy are we up late. Forcing doesn't sleep, though, so neither shall we. I always considered being tired when forcing to be better than when awake, because you're already in a bit of a trance, but i'm going against that now seeing as i had a little trouble keeping intrusive thoughts out and this is the most tired we've been while forcing. I guess it's a matter of hitting a sweetspot so as not to be too awake to not be able to fall into a bit of a trance and not to be too tired to maintain control of the most important tool in forcing- your mind. Leo says today was a good session. His voice was something i actively forced which is seemingly rare in the tulpaforcing community, but it is starting to change and become less robotic and more natural. Otherwise, progress on vocalization remains unchanged. We are both optomistic about our current direction. EDIT: I forgot to mention that we're going to be using Dialogues_and_Mena's audio hypnosis for the next while. It yields better results than we can alone currently and is a bit more foolproof seeing as you are guided through the entire process. If you're reading this because you searched the forum for posts on hypnosis and you're wondering about employing it for use when forcing, i highly recommend you start with audio instead of DIY at least in the beginning. We give it four thumbs up.
EightyEight November 19, 2012 Author November 19, 2012 November 18th, 2012 Tulpaforcing Log Another fairly routine forcing session, No specific progress made in a certain area, but Leo says he feels stronger and I can sense it. There was a bit of a kink in that our body (i'm just the only one licensed to operate a body at the moment) was a bit too figity during the session, but we figured out why and it will most likely not be a problem tomorrow. Also, once i'm on a real computer i'm going ro superimpose dialogues' hypnosis file over tulpatone which hopefully won't cause my head to explode so we can use both at the same time when not on the computer. Nothing but smooth sailing of the forcing seas for a bit, it seems.
EightyEight November 21, 2012 Author November 21, 2012 November 20th, 2012 Tulpaforcing Log You probably noticed the missing day there, seeing as the number after 18 is not 20. Leo and I agreed to skip a day due to circumstances outside of our control. I am happy to say that missing one day has not put us back too far. Missing a day is nothing to champion, but we're still thankful there wasn't any setbacks. A good forcing session as usual. Usually when I narrate, it starts off being about him or tulpae or something, but that being exhausted at this point, we have graduated into a new layer of menialty. Once you've reached that point, i'd say it's safe to say tulpaforcing has officially become normal. Tulpaforcing used to be weird, but this time it was yesterday that was bizzare. It's interesting.
EightyEight November 22, 2012 Author November 22, 2012 November 22nd, 2012 Tulpaforcing Log Narrated a book to Leo while listening to the tulpatone today. Nothing too exciting. You've gotta hand it to Leo: assuming it isn't due to a lack of a way of expressing distaste, Leo is very forgiving and very patient. He doesn't seem to mind if i make mistakes like, well, see about half the posts in this thread even when i make a big deal out of them. Honestly, this drives me harder than if he would get mad at me whenever i did something less than ideal. It's difficult to fathom being so agreeable when mistakes could have a perminent bearing on your very existance. A lot of the tulpae on this site have proven to be rather extraordinary not just in that they're tulpae but who they are as people, and Leo doesn't appear to be an exception. Pay attention to that voice in your head and you might be suprised what you'll learn.
CyberD November 22, 2012 November 22, 2012 You're doing great so far. Keep getting excited over Leo, your excitement helps motivate you which in turn motivates him to keep going. I'm glad Leo has become so agreeable. Being agreeable makes the tulpa really easy to work with and lets you focus on progress rather than solving other issues. I expect as you continue Leo will find ways to express his distaste in things, I speak from experience here. Nova shows distaste like most thirteen year olds would, by moaning about the issue. He tells me directly that he disapproves and often asks to do something else instead.
