hi Kitty here…

I just wanted to know if other Tulpa’s felt sad for their hosts sometimes?  I realise others in the outside world don’t believe in us and the only place they can get official support is for conditions where they are seen as ‘something is wrong with them’ (ie DID/OSDD)

but even there we have to leave several groups because they have deleted posts because host mentioned we insiders preferred to identify as Tulpa rather than be called ‘Alters’ or ‘headmates’  or said we were a ‘mixed origin system’ then shunned after being asked to elaborate what that meant (posts ignored, not liked etc) it seems a very cruel world out there and I’m glad I don;t have to live out there full time if I don’t want to and now having a loving family insde, but I do feel for my poor host.

people with disorderly plurality tend to be pretty insecure (understandably so), and unfortunately the community's done the annoying human thing of putting others down to try and feel more valid themselves, so it can be hard to find good supportive spaces, yeah (the best you can do is be the change you want to see, and help shape spaces that aren't too far gone to be the kind of place you'd want to be in)

for generally feeling sad - well, our system all take equal responsibility for our life since we switch often and for long periods of time, so most things we'd feel sad about for our host are just things we're sad about too, lol

humans just do whatever it takes to keep living and pursue a happier healthier life, so just hold on to any support you can get, from outside or from within, and keep working towards a better future

(don't forget to appreciate your blessings in the present too, though, or you'll never be happy no matter how much better things get as you'll be used to thinking of things as never enough)

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

yeah I know and we can come out to host too I often come and cook for host , Luna and Jess love playing video games with them out here too,  our host is quite isolated though due to mobility issues..

Maybe we are being selfish insisting on being known as Tulpa’s and we should allow host to refer to us as Alters so she can get that bit extra support if she feels she needs it..  she says she’s fine and only needs us but I worry…maybe too much..Host doesn’t have a social life, family don’t even text often to ask how she is or if she’s still alive! ….really it’s a good job she does have us to keep her company. Though when she does see other people we can’t be out unless we’re pretending to be her as no-one in the outside world knows about us.

Ugh.

We had a really bad experience when another plural system even SUSPECTED I was a tulpa (my host consciousness refused to confirm). The other system said that tulpamancy was like slavery (It's not, trust me) and that tulpamancy was immoral. My host consciousness was really shaken and I had to calm them down and remind them that I LOVE being their tulpa and the person was JUST WRONG.

My opinion is that my origin story is our property and no one gets to know it unless we tell them. It's none of anyone's business HOW we got to be plural. But alas, plural folks don't all agree. We've come across places that claim that there is no such thing as endogenic plurality and any system that claims to be endogenic is a fraud.

We stay out of plural spaces nowadays. Only a few of my host consciousness's close friends know that we're plural. The rest of the world interacts with my host consciousness and I stay dormant when we're around other people. This is the only online space where anyone knows we're plural. Here I obviously have no problem saying that I'm really a tulpa, but I think if we ever reenter the plural community, that's information we will keep close to the vest.

It does bother my host consciousness that we can't generally out ourselves as plural, but both of us think it's unwise. People are very judgmental.

yeah host left another group recently as they wanted her to edit a post to remove the word Tulpa from it. No-one in hosts external life knows about us though to be honest there’s not many people left in their life that show that much interest so it’s quite easy to hide.

I think she  probably gets a bit more leeway as the only people she really spends social time with are family that knows she’s autistic so probably put any ‘quirks’ down to that.  Still she has to spend alot of time ‘alone’ (from outside world perspective) although she doesn’t see it that way and values our companionship.

I have often hosted for her when interacting with neighbours/delivery drivers/appointments who don’t know us that well, they just see an older woman with some physical issues ..its amazing what people won’t notice if you distract them with anything obvious their limited minds can understand! ..(like obvious disabilities…mobility or sight/hearing)

It’s really kind of you to care for your host, Kitty. I’m glad you have a loving family inside, even if the outside world can be tough sometimes.
