Yeah, that's definitely the more sensical way to look at it, but I can't help but get that feeling that I'm just dismissing something else when I think in that fashion. Would you ever think that it would be so much better if it weren't like that? I don't know...

Of course it would be better if things weren't like that. but ask yourself.. Are you okay with a reassuring lie, or would you like to know the truth?

I'm not saying, emptiness after death is the truth, I'm just saying it is probably more likely. Everyone is afraid of death and no one wants to lose everything that was them, but you know what? it's inevitable, so quit worrying about it, and make the most out of life and death. After all it is just dreamless sleep.

I'm cool with lies; because I'm able to lie to myself and not let the lie parasite me, it's a godamn talent :P. Meaning I care more for what I do in life than what happens after death, best of both worlds in my opinion.

Well I don't see anything wrong with that, then.

Keep on keeping on.

Hmm, this is an interesting subject. Ashling and I have discussed this at length, and we've come up with our own theories about it. If anyone's ever seen Morgan Freeman's Through the Wormhole, there was an episode where they discussed the existence of a soul. One brain scientist said he had a near-death-experience while his brain was in a comatose state. It was some sort of disease that was causing his brain to shut down entirely, which should have prevented any near-death "simulations" the brain might produce. According to this, as well as what he experienced, he thinks there's a sort of "universal consciousness" that everyone returns to when they die. While nothing is proven of course, the spiritual connection I feel with everything leads me to go with this theory.

Anyway, Ashling and I figure once something is created in the brain, it becomes part of the person's consciousness. Thus a person with a tulpa is actually two entities joined in a single consciousness. So if there is somewhere for the person's mind to go after they die, surely a tulpa will go with it. I was actually worried about it, so Ashling and I had a little ritual where we intertwined our "souls" (or whatever) so that wherever I go when I die, she goes with me. Since she is now a part of my consciousness, she and I can never be separated. And if an entity can be reunited with the universe, why can't that entity's mind-spawn stay with them? :D

My tulpa: Ashling (aka "Amy"), a cream-colored, female unicorn with wings. She's also a shapeshifter, which makes things interesting. xD

Woah, I definitely like that idea of joining souls, though a ritual is just a tiny bit foofy for me... I'll most likely talk to Pruria 'bout it tonight about that, if not, tomorrow. I've never thought of the universal conciousness theory in terms of tulpæ; it's a subject that's never really interested me, in fact, I don't even understand it all, I'll have to ponder that one.

Good response Ashling & Questio, now I have to go and look up a load of things, that doesn't happen often, good show!
