Happy (early) Valentine's Day! Hugs from Shaula for everyone.

I tried making it look like she was hugging the screen like this.

I think it turned out pretty well. I made a bit of a mistake with the shadow on her cheek but close enough. (I now realized that and am too lazy to change everything.) 

 

Everything about the drawing feels like a Shaula scene and it's perfect. I'm really happy to spend Valentine's Day with Shaula! 

 

Shaula: hugs for everyone! 😊 I hope no one here is lonely for Valentine's Day because we all got each other as friends! 💜

Finally got around to making a Shaula in her (more) ghost form.

It's not a huge change but I feel like it needs illustrating because of the longer tail and hair.

 

Shaula got me to start drawing without a real plan and I made the head first. I really liked the expression and got the rest of the image from that. I also recently started learning how to use colored pencils more effectively and it already seems to be helping.

Small advice: when using colour pencils try to pick a direction and stick with it. So if you start colouring in horizontal lines, do that for the whole thing instead of changing to vertical, horizontal, vertical, etc...
