Guest May 29, 2012 May 29, 2012 It's been hypothesized that humans are evolutionarily programmed to speak in "babytalk" to babies because their undeveloped minds are more capable of understanding the rhythms of such speech, leading to accelerated intellectual and linguistic development. The same has been said of singing. I have started singing to my tulpa during our personality sessions, making up songs about their various personality traits. I try to make the song fit the trait ("cheerful" has a happy song, for instance). Does anybody else have any experience in the area of babytalking or singing to your tulpa?
glitchthe3rd May 29, 2012 May 29, 2012 The babytalk thing is total bullshit, not sure on singing but it seems like a good idea. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report
Charlotte May 29, 2012 May 29, 2012 Babytalk seems like a bad thing to do because the main idea of tulpaforcing is to believe your tulpa is a sentient equal until your mind actually does make you a sentient equal. Babytalk sounds like it would throw a wrench in that or even just make a baby for you. Singing sounds neat, you should try it and give us what you find. This hot empty painting should be locked and towed.
tulpatalk May 30, 2012 May 30, 2012 I suspect that singing could help the tulpa to develop a voice. [Note: Opinions]
