Are we supposed to ask them maths questions? Are we supposed to just let them develop the skills ourselves? What do, people. What do?????
Weird0 December 16, 2012 December 16, 2012 I think there hasn't been much research in parallel processing until now since the term itself is sort of new. Therefore there are no guides as far as i know. Parallel processing is something that grows on its own over time. More or less. Everyone is different so we can't tell straight how much its improving in average. At least not yet. But practice is never wrong. Ask your tulpa questions that you can't answer just like that. Tell it to think about it and tell you the answer some when later. And if its experienced enough you can step on more complicated things like: "Make up a good joke." or "What do you think about the large scale aspects of Einsteins special relativity?" :P They say great science is built on the shoulders of giants - not here. Guest BrownSubmarine December 16, 2012 December 16, 2012 Parallel processing is ability for you and tulpa to think at once where each one of you don't "hear" other side. If you and your tulpa can use own mind voices in the same time you are ready to go and just train proper parallel processing by some games (checkers, chess maybe) where each of you need to try to hide thoughts to have them only on his own. Other way to train it is a game Asgardian recommended me - your tulpa need to force something behind your back in wonderland and you have to guess what it is besed on what thoughts and ideas can you catch from your tulpa, after that is your turn where tulpa is guessing what item you are forcing. Other method that me and Lyra came up with is full body possession (it makes me go "idle" where I don't think almost at all, Lyra takes main thinker place by this) and just thinking about something else than Lyra is doing + normal conversation with her. It appears that this method works pretty well and we are getting some progress. If you and your tulpa can't speak at once and you "occupy one mind voice" you need to get separated, only way I can think of is by using symbols - you need symbol of you and your tulpa and then create wall between them so they need to work more separately. Good idea would be also to disconnect symbol of your tulpa from symbol of mind voice and just replicate it so your tulpa will have own mind voice symbol.
