Tulpa's access to your subconcious

I apologize if this subject has been discussed before but I haven't been able to fing anything that answers this completely. When you allow your tulpa access to your memories, they have access to your subconcious mind (which is what they are to begin with. What does that fact mean for the host? Umm more specific, can the tulpa's access to your subconcious mind really give you things like access to your memories, understanding of concepts that you couldn't get because of lack of concentration, bad social skills, or any other handicap? I've heard a lot about these kind of abilities and wonder if they are directly rellated to the tulpa's origin or if you have to include those qualities in the Tulpa's design. I'm sorry for the confusing question. I'm just too curious! xD

If I understand correctly (Maia and I haven't addressed the issue directly yet), your tulpa will have access to your memories just like you do, though often faster (?).

 

A tulpa can't "teach" you anything new that you did not already know, but they could help in putting together knowledge you already have, so it's half true that they can help you understand concepts.

 

As for design, I don't believe you have to explicitly spell out the attributes, they just gain them from basically living in your mind.

Thank you very much! that answered my question. I'm about 30 hours in and I want to know generally what to expect from Elska's access to my mind before signs of sentience. I don't want to expect to much or get freaked out haha!

You may run into problems counting hours. Hours lead to the expectations you fear (in my experience) that may make you push away progress because you think it will happen later. In fact, I have no idea how long I have worked on Maia, even though I logged all of my forcing activities since I started.

 

Basically, assume she's sentient now, I know I progressed with Maia very fast with this mindset. I believe Chupi is the one you want to talk to regarding hour counts and belief, this is all basically just his words.

This topic has been discussed to death in this community. The tulpa will have access to your memories, and recall using your tulpa will be possible. If you're having trouble grasping a concept, your tulpa may not be all that much help in that department, as their knowledge and understanding of things is often limited to the creator's. Social situations may be improved with a tulpa's advice, and tulpae have been shown to help out in this area if one were to use someone like glitchthe3rd as an example.

I stopped counting yesterday actually, I thought it would help but to my suprise there was an immediate response from Elska. I will keep in mind the limitations of my own brain but I think I'm understanding better the relationship from a purely logical view between tulpa and host. I'm starting focus more on Elska now and less on my desire to record this. Does Chupi have any existing threads then covering believing your tulpa is sentient? Thank you ThatOneGuy, that clarified this too. Sorry again about the topic, I'm new to forums and maybe I was having a problem with searching.

I've found a couple of long forgotten memories with the help of Shai and Telk, including the creation of my "nickname" Onicron. It was a few years back when I used to frequent 4chan's /a/ board and there was this livestream for spice and wolf, the room's name was Girafarig.

I hanged there with another viewer when the room owner was in an airport to give a ride to a friend of his. I was bored so I said: "This is not even my final form" and changed my nick from Oni to Onicron. This was back in June 2009 according to my calculations and I hadn't used that nick since before I started tulpaforcing.

 

It's amazing how the brains can save huge amounts of such trivial information.
