Hi, welcome. Its really not that bad to make a character based off someone. Sackboy isn't very bad in the first place. Don't worry about it, I'm glad youre getting visualization down. The best of us fall asleep too when forcing. Remember you can also talk to them throughout the day, I'm not sure how little your tulpa will be but you can visualize them sitting on your desk or something. Or simply imagine their prescense. I don't think you need to focus on traits very much, after a while you just know what kind of personality they have.

Narration and belief are the most important.

Best of luck to you.

Greetings fellow redhead and welcome! :)

It seems like you are off to a nice start. I don't think it's that important which method you choose, just do what feels right. If something doesn't seem to work, change it up a bit, experiment! Anyone can hardly put boundaries on your imagination, so might as well do it in the way that is the most fun for you. Can't focus for 15 minutes on a trait? Who cares :) Also what Aarix said is true and wise.

The only thing I feel like I need to ask you is this, you are already planning on making a second tulpa? I wouldn't like to see you rushing into this. I'm pretty sure that by the time you complete James (not sure that even has a good definition, complete...), your opinions will be turned on it's head many times over.

But other than that, enjoy the ride. If you want to chat, I'm always happy :D
