Guest June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 Pain is indeed a good indicator, as said by others so far. It should go over eventually, however. Best advice I can give is to drink a metric shit-ton of water.>metric shit-ton Thanks for the laugh, man. Metric ftw.
ThatOneGuy June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 Stay hydrated and well rested, and drink plenty of fruit juice. Orange juice in particular. It really helps with these concentration based headaches. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
Bluesleeve June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 I'm not getting an pain in my temples, but sometimes a very hard pressure on them. You should take it as a sign of doing it right. What is a Tulpa? Blog Rainbow 'Alyx' Dash Pronto
Zak TH June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 It's most likely the latter. Most people on here who have years of visualization experience reported similar things. I believe it's kind of like muscle soreness, it pretty much disappears after enough training, and to begin with, its absence doesn't mean that you're making no progress whatsoever. If it's there, it's simply to indicate that you're doing /something/. Now, what would one consider "visualization experience"? I had imaginary friends in my youth, and I got really good at mentaly imposing them into my surroundings, but never got to hallucinations or anything like that. So far I haven't got anything like a headache while forcing, and I was starting to wonder if i was doing it wrong. Good to hear this though. FigN01 June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 It really helps with these concentration based headaches. Only the kind that's made from concentrate though. It might be a problem with the 3rd eye like others said. I don't have headache problems, which may be because I've been used to visualizing way before tulpaforcing. Hopefully it'll go away with practice.
ThatOneGuy June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 Exactly, you see. You've had practice with concentration on this level, so you're probably not going to get the aches. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
GrimnirTheTviblindi June 7, 2012 Author June 7, 2012 Just as a followup... >implying anybody cares ... the orange juice helped. Though the force on the temples is still there, it isn't staggering pain. I was able to have a full hour of uninterrupted forcing and my visualizing seemed to go better than it had gone over the first few days. Thanks for the advice, everyone.
Guest Albatross_ June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 Pain in your temples is your tulpa trying to kill you. Don't worry, it will stop after a while.
ThatOneGuy June 7, 2012 June 7, 2012 >orange juice working, even if placebo SUCCESS! Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.
