cruse May 3, 2013 May 3, 2013 So, I normally just try to impose my friend into the environment, having conversation just like normal and sometime I even go into wonderland to spend time with them while I'm walking. So those are passive IMO But then, when I tried to active impose. I ended up doing the same thing as above. All the results and process are the same with the only difference being that I'm sitting still with my eyes closed rather than carrying out my daily life. Apart from that, I felt as if both passive and active forcing had no difference to me. Is it because my concentration is not good enough during active forcing? Guest Anonymous May 3, 2013 May 3, 2013 There's really no difference if you're focusing on a tulpa in my book. Only "difference" between what people commonly define as "active" forcing and "passive" forcing is that one involves more split focus oppose to the other. If you're doing something else while you're forcing your tulpa, then I'd call that passive. If you're sitting on your bed, and staring at your tulpa for hours on end, or doing something sexy in the wonderland, then you're probably actively forcing... but really, active and passive is what the host makes of it.
Aarix May 3, 2013 May 3, 2013 Usually active forcing is more effective is because you're concentrating absolutely on them and not dividing your attention with lifes surroundings. But as MoonShooter said, it's mostly what you make out of it. Both work well and its entirely preference how much of both you do.
