Running out of conversation?

Recommended Posts

@OP, If you're having trouble with getting the conversation going, maybe you could try having a good and focused sessions with your tulpae during the afternoon, and then during the night. I've been using a script I made for getting my tulpa more vocal and developing their ability to process things and say things before I could even think about them.

I normally do it as I'm going to sleep, and when I go through the script, there's all sorts of images that slide past each other that Eva could say with her voice, and I'm starting to use random things that I did during the day that she can eventually talking to me about. Right now, my mind gives me random flashes of the images that last maybe for 5 seconds, and then it goes through an almost endless chain if I concentrate enough.

There are many things that happen throughout your day, and if you focus on things like that (and what others suggested), it's going to be pretty hard to not think of something to talk about with your tulpa. Even right now, you could use the comments in this thread and think words and short phrases like:

"Big room"

"This needs an upgrade"

"What is this I don't even"

"Chat"

"Going on Chat"

Etc.

It sounds absurd, but if you practice getting your mind to pick these random moments throughout your day (anything can be shifted into a potential topic for you and your tulpae to discuss), you'll find yourself not stuttering or pausing to think of something.

I normally use this script (might use the other one when Eva can confidently talk where I don't have to give as much focus as I try to in my hypnosis sessions:

Just talk in a slow, calm, and soothing voice and try it out for a week or so if you want. (And if you have any questions, related to it if you're interested in doing it, you can PM me or check out my Hypnosis Script collection). If you read the guide in the pdf in the guide thread I made, you'll eventually find a way to make a script of your own where it's focused on you and your tulpae being able to talk about the most trivial and most random of things. (I have one member that made their own script for imposition, and would love to see you make one related to for getting conversations going and strong for both you and your tulpa)

There's a part on page 4 where it says "random words and phases," but I meant to type "phrases," but your mind will easily correct that mistake subconsciously. Anyway, you could check out Lacquer's Question/Answers Thread on a similar concern of a list of things to talk to your tulpa about.

And like others have stated, talk about anything, whether it's the curve on your entertainment center, how fast the scissors cuts the paper, what song/video on YouTube you liked/disliked, etc. Unless you're living your day living under a rock (and you could talk about how you're doing that to, if that's the case xD ), there's always something to talk about. Start practicing being aware of the small things in your life.

Hi, I myself just hate talking about random things... I dont even talk to people about random things (I have Aspergers), I only tend to talk about things which truely interest me. Trivial convo drives me crazy.

So I took up a course in something I want my Tulpa to be good at too, to give us something to really talk about and discuss. We spend half an hour watching a lecture together then up to an hour doing the homework like exercises and discussing it per day.

Yeah, your tulpa already knows your feelings and stuff, I guess. That is why you have to ask HIS (or her) opinion. Tulpa are sentient and can talk for themselves. Also, not to be mean, if you two almost have the exact same opinions, you might want to develop their personality a bit. When my conversations why my tulpa got bare, I would read a book to her or talk to her about my day, y'know?

You have the internet. There's no such thing as "running out of topics". If you can't just pick a random thing out of the room, go on the internet. Read your tulpa an article of some sort off of wikipedia or something, and then discuss it afterwards.

Try to sort out and understand Zelda's (video game) timeline. You will have something to discuss for a lo-ong time...
