Evermore September 29, 2013 Author September 29, 2013 This is pretty cool. Usually people have pretty anthropomorphic tulpa. This is probably the least anthropomorphic I've ever heard of. It's intriguing. Probably a silly question, but could I get a better idea of what you mean?
Maelstrom September 29, 2013 September 29, 2013 Anthropomorphism is attributing human form and emotion into something non-human. Lots of people around here have non-human tulpas (in form), but most feel more comfortable allowing their tulpas to express themselves in a way that is more human.
Shui September 30, 2013 September 30, 2013 As Maelstrom said. I can only think of one other plant tulpa, and it's a talking plant. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
Evermore September 30, 2013 Author September 30, 2013 I thought it was something along those lines. That's interesting to hear. I mean it gives emotional responses and is responsive to my own, but I feel like I would understand it better through feeling than words anyway. Unless of course it Wanted to take on a shape more human like. Another thing was that at some point I thought it was going to be female, or thought it felt more female, but now that its stayed in the same shape for a bit long it feels more like, well a tree I guess. Almost like a wise, all knowing being where gender and shape are irrelevant; though both of us understand that they only really know as much as I know. It also seems to have lead to a problem when I try to force that I feel like I'm always puppeting. I felt similar before but I've been Over thinking a lot, so much so in fact that I think even if they wanted to give me a genuine response I'm not letting myself hear/feel it. Current road block I guess.
Shui September 30, 2013 September 30, 2013 Don't worry too much about puppeting. It's normal for it to feel like that at first. In spite of what the traditional guides say, most people don't think it's a bad thing these days. Given time, it should naturally grow into something more. "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
