TheGuyWithTheGlasses September 28, 2013 September 28, 2013 So, I was visualizing for about a whopping 30 minutes, opened my eyes and saw a minty green pony with a long bushy blue tail with a streak and a Lyre for a cutie mark (Yes, I opened my eyes seeing the behind of her). She just... vanished after I saw her. Is this normal? Why did this happen? Will I get to see her again like that?
TulpaCouple September 29, 2013 September 29, 2013 Hey that's pretty cool! You had a flash of open eye visualization and possibly a bit of imposition going on there. I experience the same sort of stuff with my tulpas even after they are very very visualized--it's so easy to accidentally look through them and let, well, your eyes do the work. Keep visualizing and keep working on it. Maybe try working on open eye and closed eye visualization. Keep it up. It will come in time and it will be more stable.
Quilten October 1, 2013 October 1, 2013 Wow, that's pretty great. Like TulpaCouple said, just keep practicing visualization, and find what works best for you. If you find that there is a way to get close or to reach the same point of visualization that you did then, I would focus on that. Remember to concentrate on that image as well as the details of your tulpa's form whenever you can. Another idea, that I have found to work fairly well, is to talk to them, narrate, walk with them, but all while they are behind you, so that you imagine them behind you but don't have the direct visual input that denies that your tulpa is there.
