TheGuyWithTheGlasses October 11, 2013 October 11, 2013 For some reason, my mind stopped picturing my tulpa perfectly, or the common thing I get, as faint as it gets. I get some kind of black screen with a bit of light like this: Then it would slowly disappear to a point blank black screen. At "good" times my mind would kick in and somewhat picture Lyra. And at "good, but worse" times, my mind would only picture certain parts of Lyra like her muzzle/snout, eyes or tail. The last 2 pictures I demonstrated only happen for about 1.6 - 3.8 nanoseconds and back to a blank screen. The images aren't 100% accurate. They are far more faint and blurry.
Quilten October 11, 2013 October 11, 2013 What's your question? Even though my username is that of my tulpa, Quilten, my name is Phaneron, the host, who does all of the actual posting. Tulpas: Quilten, Jira
Shui October 11, 2013 October 11, 2013 I get the same thing from time to time. Good job illustrating it, by the way. I suggest you spend more time looking at her picture. Until you really master visualization, it's strongly linked to memory. The better your memories of Lyra are, the more vividly you'll be able to visualize her. Try making a slideshow of pictures of her, or an animation of her moving around, and watch it every day while listening to your favorite music. Linking a scent to this can also help -- if you can smell the same thing while forcing as you do while watching the slideshow, it'll make it easier to see her. If you've chosen a scent for her, that might be a good place to start, but if it's not very strong, or if it's difficult to have with you when you force, use something easier like perfume, incense, or a food or drink with a strong scent. Some pictures of her will come to your mind more vividly than others. Focus on those pictures. Sometimes, no pictures will be vivid. In that case, just visualize whatever one you want. You're still improving your ability, even if she's blurry and indistinct. Good luck! "'Real isn't how you are made,' said the Skin Horse. 'It's a thing that happens to you.'"
