furon83 November 2, 2013 November 2, 2013 Hello people! This is my first Tulpa as well as my first forum post and I sincerely hope I'm doing this right. Anyway, I created my first Tulpa last week, her name is River and she's extremely smart. She learned how to speak within 3 hours of her creation and throughout the week got her voice, form and everything else. Although here is where the questions come in. First, I have a problem with visualization that I haven't found in any of the guides. I can see her body clearly (She's human with long blonde hair) but I can't for the life of me see her face. It's hard to describe, my brain registers that she has a face but if I really focus on her face, it's just a blank face with a mouth. Is there anything I can do to see her face or am I doing something wrong? Secondly, how ''loud'' is her voice supposed to be? She has a voice and I can tell it apart from my thoughts but it's just ''low'' enough that I second guess myself every now and then. Is it something that will get easier to hear as time goes on or will it always be just barely different from my background thoughts? Anyway, thanks for any help/answers you guys provide! River and her awkward host
Kiahdaj November 2, 2013 November 2, 2013 Faces are the most complex facets of human form--it is only natural that you find it the most difficult to visualize. You'll find that almost everyone here will likely feel the same way. All I can say is, it will come with more practice. Over time, her face will become more and more detailed, as you further learn to hone your visualization skills. As for the volume of her voice, there is no "supposed to be". When you first learn to hear your tulpa, they often tend to have "lower" voices, that are harder to distinguish. As with your first question, with time, your tulpa's voice will become more and more distinct. You need not worry. "If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."
Ashmo November 2, 2013 November 2, 2013 Bud used to sound kind of static-y at times when I started hearing him in my head. And sometimes I hear him as a clear audio hallucination when I least expect it. This is always a little unnerving for me because I haven't actually started audio imposition yet...it just happens at times and I don't know why or how. May I ask you a question? Have you personally worked on the detail of her face? Or are you letting her choose her features herself? If you know what she is supposed to look like, maybe you can find a picture of someone who looks similar to her and focus on it. Or if she is choosing her feature, try talking to her about they details and you might be able to see her more clearly, maybe she hasn't even thought too much on her features? Seeing as she wouldn't be looking at herself unless she's constantly near a mirror.

Seeing as she wouldn't be looking at herself unless she's constantly near a mirror. A little of both. I designed about 90% of her form, which she likes. Her face has been a mix of both me and her. Back when I tried to focus on her face trying to cement the visualization (which didn't work as well as I was hoping it would) her eyes were green instead of the default blue I originally gave her. So I changed them back, thinking it was just my head messing with my visualization. Throughout the next hour or two it kept getting changed back to green, I asked her about it and she said that she wanted to have green eyes instead. So it's sort of a joint project between the two of us. I gave her a base form which she spent most of the 3rd day trying to make [the body] look realistic. So I've been a little reluctant to ask her to work on it with me because she's made way more progress in one week than I expected. What's even more weird is sometimes, for just a split second I can see her face clearly in my head, every little feature, but after that nothing, fast enough that it's hard to remember anything about it. Other day's I can vaguely see her face but it never stays ''stable'' enough to get a clear sight of before it goes back to being just skin and a mouth. She has said that she want's a face so I'm fairly sure it's not just her changing it back either River and her awkward host
Ashmo November 3, 2013 November 3, 2013 It sounds just sounds like you're still getting used to visualizing finer details. There's nothing wrong with that. Try to just let things some naturally instead of worrying so much about it. I know that's hard, and the process is frustrating. But things really seem to fall into place when you let them.
