mordred June 26, 2012 June 26, 2012 I'm sure some of you have at least heard of chaos magick- it's basically babby's first magick 101. Most of the actual workings in chaos magick are pretty much just sigils and basic rituals- but there is also another side to it. Chaos magick also focuses on the practice of creating and calling "thought-forms": ie servitors, god-forms (angels/demons/whatever), ghosts, whatever. I would suppose that a tulpa would be considered a thought-form, an upgraded servitor- but still ones own, as opposed to god-forms or spirits. Although in chaos magick, thought-forms and servitors tend to be created into sigils or called from rituals. The idea is that you can create your own thought-form, or call another to you. Be it God himself or just a random, chaotic spirit. If one is able to call anothers servitor or thought-form to them, would one be able to call anothers tulpa to them? It's interesting to think about, in any case. Here's some more information on chaos-magick servitors: sigil servitor creation servitor information source sage
ThatOneGuy June 26, 2012 June 26, 2012 I have a couple of sigils for servitors, actually, though I far prefer using other methods >_> In any case, the tulpa is much more complex than a servitor and as such another's subconscious may not be able to replicate it accurately if one were to attempt to either clone/send it. For those wondering, sigils involve making a sort of set of instructions in symbol form that is then put into the subconscious while in a trance-state, and the sub-c then executes the instructions, so even if you don't do the whole magick shtick it has some basis in how it works. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

mordred July 4, 2012 Author July 4, 2012 go back to /x/, nerd. tulpae are psychological phonomenon, not le magic XD this was merely a few links and ideas for people in the metaphysical board, as I used to be interested in such things. anyway, egregore are a group project. you obviously don't know what you're talking about. hence a level up from sevitors. if you're misguided and make your tulpa wrong, you can end up with a servitor. in fact, you can turn a servitor into a tulpa! nothing to do with egregore. Have you hugged your tulpa today? sage

Have you hugged your tulpa today? 1. Didn't you start this thread about "Chaos Magic"? 2.A Servitor is like a sigil, a spell. It isn't conscious, it's a packet of "psychic" energy. 3. A Tulpa is a low-level Egregore because someone other than the person who formed him can "pick him up". 4. Chaos magic is complete rubbish, if intention did anything then I would be a millionaire. Implying that it's an "upgraded servitor" still implies it is a servitor. Also, angels/demons aren't godforms, they are egregores, also. Om Mani Padma Hung
mahou_shoujo September 11, 2012 September 11, 2012 Sad that this topic had to degenerate into name calling and poop-slinging. Chaos magic is real, and it works, but it wont ever make you a millionaire!

mahou_shoujo September 12, 2012 September 12, 2012 How so? I assume you mean "how does it work". Well, it works like any other type of magic. That is, its all about the self. Magic is "the art of self transformation." Magic is a psychological exercise, like meditation.

I have years of experience in the (study of the) occult, which I why I moderate this board. I'd like to see some proof. Om Mani Padma Hung
