Further to this, our family have what we have always called Mythical Beasts. The main two being Crab and Turtle. These are tulpas that are shared across the whole family. (As such they could be technically be considered a sub-class of egregore.)

 

Our Mythical Beasts concern themselves mainly with entertaining children in the family. Adults get largely ignored except for the occasional jape.
