Has anyone else had prior experience working with thought-forms and egregores before this process? How did that change the process of creating a tulpa for you?

I'm going out on a limb here and I'm going to be the first to point out that in my mind (haha, no pun intended) the jury is out on this actually being a legitimate creation or just some good mental exercise.

I'd started creating a tulpa the other day. Now, I kind of went non-traditional in the sense that I already had exceptional ability to visualize anything, so I skipped a lot of the visualization process as I had pretty much a clear design in mind already in the form of an old 'imaginary friend' from back in my younger days.

So I just started doing some basic passive forcing (I'm still having fun with all your jargon). It was fun for a while, and I seemed to get some legitimate responses that weren't forcing. Maybe having a predetermined form in mind maybe? I know she recalled some memories from back then that I totally didn't remember, and while in the car went, "hey I like that song!" When I was about to change the channel because I was so TIRED of hearing that song (top 40 anyone???) I had a continual conversation with her all day yesterday and today.

The other is about parallel processing. So they can do their own thing without having to be aware of what I'm doing. She was next to me and drawing but looked up at the TV when a song came on. (I swear, she's like, attracted to music... LOL) The thing is, I wasn't aware of the song change, just that she'd moved her head so I turned to look....

Now, I know, this is frigging day TWO. And as I said, the jury's out on this one, but I just wanna know what you think? Maybe answer some questions? I tend to not ask stupid questions as I know how google works. LOL

Sorry, I look back and realize a lot of that is a lot of brain stew... Let me condense my thoughts a bit:

Has anyone else had prior experience working with thought-forms and egregores before this process? How did that change the process of creating a tulpa for you?

Also, using an existing form that you already are familiar with does it make it easier for forcing and actually getting a genuine response?

Moved to Metaphysics board, because egregores can be discussed here without incurring flaming. (Also, anyone flaming this here, I get to pounce on.)

Yeah, such questions are considered Metaphysical on this site. Much more likely to get a sensible answer here then in Q & A.

Hee hee.. flame on then! :D (If that's indeed what you were saying... LOL!)

If you don't think I"m not at least keeping a firm skeptical eye on everything that I'm accomplishing here, being 'unorthodox' as it were. I've learned a lot about having at least some form of doubt in the back of your head allows you to stop from going completely off the deep end.

Still I ask, if you're really good at character creation and visualization wouldn't that at least make it EASIER to create tulpas?

The answer to your question would be that as time progresses my egregores do get more complex. The first Ford had bicycle tires, now look at the Mustang. I think there is a servitor tulpa continuum. So take your pick. You want a simple alarm clock or a butler who rouses you out of bed? Your choice and your effort. Good luck.

Personal skills developed or practiced during creating thought forms for example visualization, concentration, etc. definitely help when working with my tulpa, since I am able to focus my mind easier and have less distraction than I would otherwise. They are all different forms of focusing the mind.

Watchdog 3 says: "Actually, yes, Kevin and kerin made some servitors long, long before making Nobillis. How this changed the process was:

  • There were already various servitors to do functions for Nobillis when she was young. So she had a somewhat easier time of it.
  • She had the former main servitors at her command to perform what duties she required and to teach and comfort her
  • Kevin had no forcing to do, as it was done for him.

An existing form was used for Nobillis, that of Octavia from MLP. It made visualization easier, but we took great pains to explain to her that she is a look-alike and not in any way the character itself. Actually, this made no change to getting a response, but the Memory House (mind palace) did."

I haven't created an egregore. But in regards to your second question, yes. The form for my tulpa has been in my head for almost 2 years, but I didn't turn it into a tulpa until a week ago. Visualizing him is easy, and I have gotten some emotional responses and random phrases already, which I consider good progress. I hope this helps.

Im dealing with """magick""" enough time to say that I believe that there is two types of Servitors.

Type N.1 Is when you create another Tulpa but without sentience, the servitor does not think by itself and you control it (its not a fully developed Tulpa, I dont have one so i cant explain better)

Type N.2 Is when you use "magick" to create a servitor that will help you with your life.

The thing is, the TN.1 is only in your mind and this is the effect it have.

The TN.2 is a servitor too but it is expected to help you in the real world, bringing material or social results.

The egregore is like a servitor TN.2 but it is created by a great number of people.
