You could program your tulpa to help you identify the spirits around you. That was one of the functions of a Watcher egregore. I take some offense to the assumption that all demons are evil. Remember that demons are fallen angels. We could say that they are more in tune with the earthplane. One story says that the demons were not cast from heaven, but that they jumped in order to help humanity. Like prometheus bringing fire to mankind. But even so, you should test the spirits around you and stay positive so that you attract the positive.

 

I have similar beliefs. I believe that most demons aren't really evil. The original name for them was daemon, and they came from a completely different mythos than that of the Bible. The early church wanted to demonize the religions of the lands they visited, so they could more easily convert people to Christianity. There are some evil demons, and there are some demons that are neutral, but can still do great harm to you. For example, a succubus lives off energy gained through sexual intercourse with men. Some of them will drain them until they die, but some of them fall in love with their victim, and in that case, they just take some energy daily to keep them going. Although I'm still not gonna try attracting succubi, despite the reward xD Lastly, there are benevolent demons. There are people who claim to have been helped by demons. They would always give them good advice, and even give them protection. But dealing with demons can still be a risky proposition. If you do come across one, be as friendly and polite as possible, and hope that it's not a malicious demon trying to deceive you.

You are right discord and enoch what makes you think that they are fallen at all.Its just a result of religious monopoly.Imagine if there were only twilight books or movies related to vampires then that would totally change the image of vampires in society(just an example cause twilight is stupid...).

The fallen angels are derived from various myths of ancient civilizations like Sumer,Egypt or (maybe)greece.The purpose was to keep spiritual knowledge(concepts like black magic,kundalini etc) away from humanity and into the hands of few people(Church even outlawed Scrying).Well I know theres no point in telling you guys about it cause you won't even bother to do some research about it(even if I give you evidence) in order to judge equally what you want to believe or not...(no offence)

I think there's not much diference actually, if the tulpa is fully consicous that is. What you can notice is when something comes within you and something that isn't from your domains. There are spirits that can fool you yes, but that depends on how you found or were looking for Severus, when you desire it with power and try to "look" for Severus that energy goes outwards and some spirit/demon/whatever may pick it up and answer your call, if you didn't try to create it within you first, but tried to call outwards looking for him, it probably is an external being.
