Tulpaforcing while Lucid Dreaming?

Recommended Posts

It's not very easy to tulpaforce in dreams, maybe even imposible.I had a lot of lucid dreams (most of times i achieved one using the WILD method, or WBTB).When i create something alive in my lucid dreams, every time they are already 'sentient' (it's only your subconscious parroting them, because every time when you remake them, they will have a different 'personality').

I know it is possible, albeit maybe a bit hard, to meditate in lucid dreams. If I remember correctly, the Buddhist monks did this. Tulpaforcing doesn't seem like a very far throw from that - perhaps the secret is to tulpaforce like one normally would instead of trying to conjure up the tulpa as you would a dream character..?

I've noticed a few people are tulpa forcing while they are lucid. Anyone want to toss in their 2 cents on the topic?

I'm not sure if I've ever had an LD, but roflmao from the IRC says it's of limited use for forcing because of its limitations. Notably, that they're limited in length, end abruptly, and you're not totally sane during them. There's also the obvious issue, that it's often hard and unreliable to get into one.

I've experienced these limitations, although perhaps not exactly in a lucid dream. I get into sort of a near-dream state where I'm still conscious, but close enough to dreaming that I'll start to actually see stuff. Sometimes it may actually become an LD, I'm not sure. "Dream logic" applies -- when I'm in it, things make perfect sense, but if I later recall it in detail to write up for my blog, it feels like I'm describing a dream. Things happen out of the blue, I choose retarded solutions to problems and miss the blatantly obvious solution. Limited length and abrupt end apply too: I'll be doing something and it's like I'm having to put more and more effort into doing it, and then I just black out into sleep. Sometimes I drift back into consciousness still in this place but aware that I'd been out for a while; other times I wake up in my bed and hour later trying to recall exactly what the last thing I successfully did was.

Another problem is that if you hold still for too long in a lucid dream or near-dream, you drift into sleep. This is especially problematic if you try to do something like stare at and feel up your tulpa -- i.e. basic forcing.

So yeah, whether or not it's sometimes been a real LD, this state results in seeing stuff better than normal visualization. But it hasn't been all that useful for forcing. It's great for going on wonderland adventures and exploring new areas that I haven't been to yet.

I had lucid dream last night and called my tulpa immediately after realized that it's a dream. She came quickly, but had quite opposite appearance to what I'm usually trying to visualize. We had a chance to embrace and to feel "density" of each other, but had no time to fix her form in a dream. The whole lucidity lasted less than a minute.

Koomer wants to try lucid dreaming, we have a "plan" to make this work for tulpaforcing.

I will try to communicate to koomer while he is dreaming to make him lucid, then i will try to instruct him step-by-step to come to the wonderland.

if i come to his dreams i might be affected as well. is this time he will come to the wonderland hopefully it all works as planned.
