Imposition Drawing

Recommended Posts

For those who have more or less achieved visual imposition upon their surroundings. So you can achieve imposing your tulpa in your field of view, but what about other things? I like to draw, but what I see in my head is rarely what turns out on the paper. What I want to know is how many of you have tried to use imposition to put an image on paper and draw it(or trace if you want to get technical)? How does that work for you, is it better or does it not make any difference?

I've thought about doing that as well, although drawing with a grid. But I'm not done with imposition yet, so I can't actually answer your question.

For me, I actually had to draw my guys out before I was able to properly visualize them. I had a general idea of their sex, race, clothing, eye/hair color, etc, but I just wasn't seeing them. So I tried drawing them out (I'm an illustration major after all) and it helped me a great deal. I had no clue what Jake's haircut was supposed to be so I tried a few different things and I felt his approval when I hit on the right thing. There are still some details I haven't fleshed out yet, but I've got what they look like down for the most part.
