FurryBlueNaki September 25, 2014 September 25, 2014 I believe a tulpa is "Giving individuation to intelligent energy" as someone put it. You can put that in the book. Chance, an anthro husky, wolf or fox. Birthdate September 20, 2014. Sentient October 1, 2014.
Upper Class Twit September 27, 2014 September 27, 2014 Can we elaborate on what would be discussed in the book? "The Question is not who is going to let me, its who is going to stop me"~ Ayn Rand
SerjRocketeer September 27, 2014 September 27, 2014 Is this going to be a story book or a (for the lack of a better term), technical book? I think something like this could work if it was a book documenting the lives of various tulpas and hosts. Things like how they feel about each other, difficulties they may have had throughout their lives together, how the host felt about the concept of a tulpa the first time they got into the subject, how did the host actually created the tulpa, how do tulpas feel about being tulpas, etc. I think things like that without going too deep into the technicalities of what a tulpa is and how to create a tulpa, could really be a quite interesting read with a lot of content. Also, there is this: I could contribute as well, though I don't want to be credited by my real name. I agree that people should remain anonymous. You can say that it might hurt the credibility of the book, but you would be surprised how many people accept a The people portrayed in this book have chosen to remain anonymous. These are people with lives, wives, husbands, careers, children... and they are merely protecting themselves against a backlash from society if this book is misunderstood, or not well taken. Please understand, and we hope this doesn't deter you from enjoying the book and taking it serious. Anyway, good luck on the project if you (or anyone else) decide to do it.
DragonFriend October 13, 2014 October 13, 2014 This could be very interesting... Not sure if I could help, but I probably could (and remain anonymous of course). One question: will the author remain anonymous too? He could be taking a big risk in publishing it. It would be hoped that the kind of people who would want to read a book like that would be slightly more... sensible people. It could include individual stories from different people, as well as some contributed artwork perhaps... One of the earlier chapters should probably be on the misconceptions of Tulpas in the media and relation to schizophrenia (did I spell that right?) and other diagnosed hallucinations etc. this would hopefully clear any misconceptions. I am pretty good with grammar and spelling, if no one else is willing to go over it. Also graphic/traditional art. Just add my two pence ;) Part of the road to becoming a better person lies in defeating the darkness inside yourself, then helping others to do the same.
