How come people can spell Cinemaphobe just fine, which took me a good day or two to read correctly, but everyone spells my name wrong? That's it, I'm changing my signature to include pronunciation.

 

Anyway. There's not much to be skeptic about at this point, unless you think this entire forum is absolutely insane. Unless you follow a strictly scientific approach like I did, and then you'll want to stay introspective on how and why every thought and feeling occurs the way it does, but even then you can take solace in knowing that many before you have already done so.

 

Talking to your tulpa is mostly done in your mind casually, but when actively forcing speaking out loud is perfectly fine. You're basically developing a conscious being in your mind, so it will seem like you're talking to yourself at first because you're not used to it. Give it a chance and your tulpa will start to develop in time. You may also feel like, when your tulpa first starts speaking, that it's actually you thinking the words and not them. Again your mind isn't used to this yet, and again give your tulpa some faith. Eventually the thoughts of what they're saying will become independent of your conscious thought, so it won't feel at all like you're the one talking, and they may well speak differently than you anyway.

 

Have some faith, 'cus quite a few people have pioneered the way for you. The first of which were monks, many, many years ago lol. Someone here can answer probably any question you have, though you could search the forum first because we tend to answer the same questions a hundred times. Otherwise, every person is unique and you should learn for yourself with this forum as guidance.

Your username can be very annoying to spell. Possibly because of the "I-before-e" habit that people develop from a young age. My username on the other hand, contains a word that is seen frequently, and a suffix that is also seen frequently, forming a memorable combination.

 

Not to mention that I post on nearly every thread, so my name is one that is difficult to avoid seeing.
