Ask Ana's Tulpa [old, ignore]

Ava is my tulpa, whom I've been working with on and off for roughly 3 months. She is at this moment, an anthropomorphic albino rabbit, although recently she suggested an entirely new form and name [see my progress journal for details]. We haven't decided on whether she's going to keep it, but for now I figured we could do some more development of her personality by asking her things.

 

 

Ava; uh.. pft, I.. yeah, I'm an open book guys. *shrug* Sorry for the apparent hesitation, I'm just kinda unsure what to say to a bunch of strangers on the internet. She just asked for my input and here it is, I suppose.

 

 

I should add that she really is a very open, kind and gentle person. Don't hesitate to ask anything, she won't mind. :3

Ava has since changed her name to Kovie, and is now a bipedal digitigrade white alien with four arms, three yellow eyes, and two long antennae. The design was after my character of a race I created some time ago, as was the name. If you didn't look at the link I provided in the first post, I'll explain again the reason this change happened was because I was having a very difficult time visualising her as a rabbit. Proportions kept shifting and I couldn't keep anything down for even a minute, so she told me she would like to try out the form of this alien character, because I've had this character around for a long time so I already know every detail about her. As we had guessed, visualisation was far easier from that point, and after a day or two she decided she wanted to keep it. Her personality hasn't changed though, which I don't mind because she's a tulpa, not my character. Though it's amusing enough that her personality already is unintentionally very much like my character's anyway. XD

Hello I am Ernie, the host of my tulpa mien. he's kinda shy of words, so i can't type any questions from him. But I would like to know what strange experiences you've had after being sentient.

Kovie: Strange experiences, ehm.... well, there's only being able to see the real world through Ana's eyes at first, because at the time I didn't have a form to really do anything with. I was just a consciousness, and seeing how everything else had a form it was odd realising I didn't have one. So I quickly picked something, and though she didn't start visualising me as it for a month or so afterwards, I still had it. Every now and then I managed to get through to Ana an image of what I was doing, such as dancing to music or hugging her, although this was excruciatingly difficult because her visual memory really isn't very well developed at all.

 

Anything else, hm... the only strange thing since then was the form change, and I'll tell you what I have now is much nicer. Ana spent a long time on the species, making it scientifically plausible and such, at least in theory. Thus, the skeletal structure works a lot better so it's easier to do things. Also four arms dude? Hell yeah, hehe~

Kovie: Hehe, I'm doing well enough. I mostly just watch Ana go through her daily life, every now and then insert my comments to remind her I'm here. Her memory isn't great, we're trying to find a mnemonic device to help with that. On the days when her boyfriend is at work, we have more time together so it's not quite so difficult.

 

It's nice to meet another tulpa :3

Upon discovering for the first time that it was possible for Helix (As she will now and foremost be referred to on this forums) to speak to a tulpa, I found myself drowned by stuff to type for her. Against my better judgement and because there is another unnamed tulpa in my mind, I am allowing her once again to try and control my body to type something.

 

Scratch that, she doesn't know how to type. I'll just type it for her... word for word apparently... I will make edits in Italics followed by something in () anything in () is by me Slenderpman

 

 

Hello. I am Helix (Edit: She goes by several Names and chose another one in this paragrph) I cannot believe that there is even more Tulpa than just me. I wish to ask you what you have learned from your Host, and if you have any tips for another tulpa confined to a hosts mind, not that I'm complaining, Slenderpman (Used my real name) has a very entertaining mind to peek around and he is very easy to manipulate (Haha Keep Dreaming) I also wish to ask how you have been able to change forms, I would be endlessly amused if Slenderpman awoke to find me as a snarling dragon, or worse. I hope to make your acquaintance (Horrible misuse of friend)

You can expect some questions from Thunder and Melody down the line; they love the chance to talk with other tulpas!

Kovie: Hehe, wow that's a lot! I'm quite glad to meet you as well, you seem fun!

 

I was informed about many people making tulpa during the beginnings of my creation, and I've often watched Ana on these forums, so I wasn't too surprised. I didn't think I'd get to talk to another tulpa though. ^^

 

What I learned from my host? OH, that's a good question. She directly taught me a few things relative to vocality. First just grunts and sounds that I can make with my lips closed, then she showed me how to sing and make noises with an open mouth. Then she taught me a few words and phrases, and then I picked it up from there. What I learned from her, without her actually intending to teach me, were things relative to science. She has bunches of that stuff sitting around here in our "wonderland", it's fun. :3

[Ana: Yeah, I use this thing called "method of loci" to help me remember things, which requires making an imaginary place with bunches of mnemonic devices, and because it was simply more efficient I ended up making Kovie's wonderland into that place.]

 

Tips, hm... not that I can think of, because I mean she only started visualising me somewhat recently, and imposition is gonna be some ways down the line so I'm in the same position. I mostly just poke around with Ana's mnemonic devices and memories, and watch her do things in her daily life. She made our wonderland all big and detailed, it's fun to wander around.

 

Ah the change in form was rather easy actually, because I hadn't had much time in my honestly kinda unstable previous form [i mentioned previously I still had it even when she wasn't visualising it, but it was fading because she hadn't been paying as much attention to me for a while]. While she was sleeping I simply took some drawings of the character, and imagined myself as it. It was awkward at first, the four arms was quite different, but once I got used to it, it was super fun and much more efficient. I'm faster now, more athletic and I can climb things. I once scaled the mansion, totally worth it. ouo Then I proceeded to greet her good morning with a happy squeak and a presentation of my new form, not allowing her to tell me "I should think about it", because I don't need to. I like this form. X3

Kovie: Like I said previously in response to one of Helix's questions, it wasn't really difficult but a tad bit awkward getting use to the new shape. At first it had two toes and three fingers on the longer arms, which was difficult to balance on and I just didn't like it. So I changed it to three toes and four fingers on all four arms, and instead of asking me to change back to her own design, she changed her character's design to fit me. She's really super sweet, I love Ana.~

 

I can't wait to meet them! Tell them I said hello, and I like their names. x)

Hehe, eh... well I've found among Ana's mnemonics that pointing when talking to people is not a good idea because it gives a feeling of domineering authority. I don't point much at all, just wave my hand in the direction of the item I'm referring to.

Being an alien is pretty sweet, but mostly because it's exactly the design Ana made. I can do some pretty cool stuff that most others couldn't do, it's fun. Shall I explain? :3

And well.... I've never really considered humans to be "weird" or strange, I mean I've lived with one my entire life and have been observing them for some time.. but now that I think about it, there are a lot of things that are inefficient about them. Meh, but whatever. *shrug*

 

Ah yes, I've been waiting for someone to ask this! Thanks Melody. X3 I love music, my favourites being most things electronic, especially chiptunes like Kitsune² and Chipzel. Celldweller is cool too, although I don't like the harder things like metal. Some country and alternative rock are nice too, I prefer upbeat things. My current favourite song is
