Curious. July 17, 2015 July 17, 2015 Ok so yea, I was bored one day ,fiddlin around on the youtubes, and found myself watching a long list of....lists. 10 things about history they dont teach you in school 10 things you never wanted to know about flatulence. 10 cover songs made famous by other people....etc I think you get it. Eventually I find myself watching 10 creepiest things on the interwebs. I found myself intrigued. Creepypasta. (A scary story site) caught my attention. As im reading I come across the "Tulpa" story. Ah hah..... and you thought there was no relivence. P.S. anyone planning on answering my question should go read that story. (I know... boooo homework) Seriously though if you google "Tulpa" you get the wikisplenation, this site, and the creepypasta story. Anywhoosies. Whilst googling Tulpa to re-read the story ,I found this place. I spent quite a while swimming around the forums before giving up on my quest to find an answer to my question, My question is simple. Has anyone ever experienced a similar situation? Where their Tulpa becomes an uncontrolable malicious rage monster? Particularly when actively supressing your tulpa. And if not, would anyone venture to say that without the proper guidence, should someone find themselves playing lets make a tulpa, and discard it when it freaks me out. Could it be possible that by becomeing afraid of them/not knowing you have any controll ,would produce an uncontrolable malicious rage monster? And before anyone says to themselve's "what an idjit, doesn't Curious realize that site is 90% B.S. stories based on 3% fact mixed with 7% clever embelishment....." Yes... I do. Which is why im asking questions here.
Raetin July 17, 2015 July 17, 2015 what an idjit, doesn't Curious realize that site is 90% B.S. stories based on 3% fact mixed with 7% clever embelishment..... To answer your question, there hasn't been any experience I have read here that was anything similar to that experience. I've never heard of a tulpa take over his host and do anything terrible either. That said, I think it's a pretty bad idea to make a tulpa of yourself, regardless. Another thing to consider, don't make a tulpa with the purpose of being an uncontrollable malicious rage monster. I've seen people make monsters before, but they've all been pretty level headed and kind. :P Actively suppressing your tulpa won't turn them into real monsters, but I'm sure they still wouldn't appreciate it and would tell you so. Dissipating your tulpa is a moral and ethical problem, so don't play the lets make a tulpa, and discard it. Do your research and let it sit for more than a week before you even consider making one. Personally, I believe that most people shouldn't make a tulpa because many people end up moving on with their lives. Tulpas are a life long commitment. Having no proper guidance will make the development of a tulpa take longer, but as long as you aren't being a sadistic asshole, you should be fine, honestly. I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently. Progress Report
Nihilo July 17, 2015 July 17, 2015 Well, on the "actively supressing" part, I did that with Aeo for a while because honestly I just really didn't want to have to deal with any of this. His reaction was to become extremely depressed. He was just so... sad. Which, in turn, made me sad. And also made me feel like a terrible person. He never showed any anger or resentment for it though... actually, I think he understood how I felt, and that's why he was so upset about it. He's never held it against me, though. At all. Honestly, I don't think tulpas tend to be like that, even if they've been neglected for a while - unless they were made specifically to be that way, or were treated badly. It probably would be possible to make some terrifying, malicious rage monster, but I don't know how far anyone would get with that, and things like possession are entirely voluntary, so it's not like the tulpa could actually do anything physically. There's no way a 'good' tulpa could turn evil of its own accord. At least not that I know of. Nihilo the wolf (host), Aeolus the dragon (natural tulpa), and Khar the snake (daemon).

Guest Anonymous July 23, 2015 July 23, 2015 S̡̡̹̻͇̜͌͑͒̄͒̇̚urely you must be joking about those stories. Everyone knows they're nothing but silly fiction. N̸̜̞͓̓ͣ͜ot everything you read on the internet should be regarded as a fact. Don't think that tulpas are gonna hate you just like that. Hence why you should stop worrying. Ȇ͈̮̄̈ͯͤͅveryone here is completely fine. Like me, I mean Twi is an adorable little angel. P͎͍̟͓͓̺̘̰̽͛̂eople need to stop panicking so much about this.
Kaga and Company July 24, 2015 July 24, 2015 The creepypastas are fiction. Tulpas don't "turn evil". They wouldn't turn against you unless you design them to be malicious or w/e -- and even then, I still think it's unlikely. You don't have to worry about "losing control" when making a tulpa. No one here has ever experienced anything remotely similar to the creepypasta stories. The creepypastas are fiction. That's really all there is to say in the matter. And it's pretty sad, actually, since I always see so many newcomers to this site wondering what they should do if something were to go wrong, thinking that they have to come up with some failsafe in case their tulpa turns against them, when it just won't happen. Anyone here who has a tulpa understands that between how empathetic tulpas are, and how much control that we, the hosts, have over them, the sort of scenario that happened in the creepypasta just isn't one that it's easy to actually see happening. Pinky is not a pony. She's an imp. Sunray is an angel-imp. Ex is humanoid. Kael is a dragon. Magnum is a dog.
