Toph and for the little she's in the show Ty Lee are my favorites, though the entire show is full of good characters And I HAVE seen Korra Season 1 is impeded by a love triangle and season 2 turns into some stupid fanfic that rewrites all the series' lore, but seasons 3 and 4 are just great with no notes Well, I did talk to Flan briefly while waiting to fall back asleep at 4am, she was excited about the Touhou 6 remake (the game Flandre Scarlet is from) but that was about it

Toph reminds of Twi in some ways. No doubt the latter would join illegal fighting tournaments despite being a princess.

It seems cool. I have not had the opportunity to play it yet, but i have watched some people play it. I still need to watch Avatar, but earthbending does seem really cool.

Oh man, Twi and I had so much fun today. We saw a movie where Supreme Allied Commander Eisenhower had to use a Scottish meteorologist to put the finishing touches on D-Day. It contained two of my favourite general officers, Bernard Montgomery and Omar Bradley. Monty is the best.

Bre, have you ever played/heard of Void War? It is apparently a lot like FTL, but with a more fleshed out crew system and more stuff for boarding enemy ships.

to be clear, when you beat phase 3 of the rebel flagship, the game is over. you get the victory screen, and the campaign is done. there is no post game or anything like that; it's a rougelike meant to be replayed many times. so the ultimate fate of the ship and its last crewmember can only be speculated on technically, you can still win the game even if your ship gets destroyed, as long as you can destroy the flagship as well

My learning psychology just paid off for the first time. A close friend of mine wanted to keep distance without apparent reason, and after a few conversations on the topic I remembered attachment theory and identified her actions as avoidant type affection.(probably not the right words, I didn’t learn in this language and did spontaneous translation) and accordingly acted, offering comfort and security like I was taught, and it worked. We’re now even closer than before. I was able to understand and help a friend in distress and I succeeded and I’m ridiculously happy about it. I think aside from the obvious reason, this proved to myself that I had the power to act and the ability to make correct decisions, which I had doubted for a pretty long while. I think this is the first time in our collective memory that an important decision we made(learning about psychology) actually bore fruit, which is kind of sad now that I think about it. But that doesn’t matter for now, for now I can just be happy with things and that’s exactly what I plan to do.
