  2. Hi Alex! It's nice to hear from you after all these years of seeing posts from Abvieon. 😅 We're always interested in older systems and how they continue to function for years, how has it been for you? Can you describe the day to day? Our system is just about 6 years old and we were always good at interacting because we had a wonderland where most of us kept active all day. That slowly faded to more of a self-forcing one on one thing with the fronter which is almost but not always exclusively Bear. He then usually talked to us whenever he was doing anything that didn't require thinking. Before us he would monolog to himself constantly so we were a perfect fit. Lately, after all these years, SheShe is writing a book with us in it heralding our adventures playing in a new and exciting construct which is the world of Toril from D&D lore. We were always hoping for a way to replace wonderland with something more consequential and this is working for us.
  3. I could take to liking it 298 episodes oh my god I better clean up my plate before I get my next helping. Samurai Champloo is still on the menu
  4. I'm reading dragonball super the moro arc, the first arc after the last arc of the anime. I'm enjoying it so far. If you check out db that'd be cool. It'd be cool if you started in the original dragonball too, as many people skip that for some reason, partially because mainly Z was broadcasted on tv in the 2000s. I think db was too, but after the fact, and Idk where. Bre watched the first season of Kai, which you could watch if you wanted to skip some filler, but I like filler from dragonball/z. OH NO VEGETA POINTED AT HIMSELF WITH HIS THUMB, THAT'S ALWAYS A BAD SIGN FOR VEGETA or most people who do that. It's usually a good sign I think if you point at the opponent with your index finger. Remember this if you ever get in a fight with someone Rena will switch in for a couple hours or so soon
  5. I see. One day I’ll check out DB What are you up to?

  7. dragonball super manga is pretty hype actually. the anime just upset me a lot (though also made me really happy)
  8. Picking myself up after a two-week crash of playing Minecraft nonstop: These things happen. Imposition is weird nowadays. It's been a mix of old practices and present-day techniques ever since I made a change to my workspace. I've taken to calling it Imposition 2.0 for that reason, because it has enough of my new insight squeezed into it to separate it from my 2023 methods. Much more of a focus on making things feel real, which contrasts how 1.0 was all about "conjuring up" that realness out of thin air. It feels more in line with the direction most of the guides are pointing in, and what most people have done I've been presence-imposing more various knickknacks to warm up and I think I've taken a liking to it. Some of them are based off real objects, like the Expo marker I did yesterday, but I also like to impose tiny dots of noise and suspend them in mid-air to experiment with giving them depth. I'm happy to report that imposition practice has been smooth for these past few days.
  9. I’m vegan on some days, when my diet consists mostly of instant noodles. They have way too many chemicals to be considered a solid part of any food group, save for maybe trace amounts of grain The next poster decorates their room to an excessive degree.
  10. i can only find the one that posted more recently
  11. Are there 2 redacted systems? The 2019 one says that they've moved on, but an account with the same name posted an imposition pr a couple months back.
  12. I was gonna add a sheesh to that first post, but I hesitated a bit when posting and decided to skip out on it, even though I should’ve because 40 consecutive hours definitely deserves that sheesh I guess it all worked out in the end because there’s always extra last-postingness to go around Sometimes I forget that the conversation is a game, and other times it comes as second nature
  13. even though this first game is taking a lot longer, there's no way we'd personally be able to complete a game in under 20 hours (unless we tried to speedrun it) we do care about details slightly too much but I still think this game is just ridiculously long per game and there's still soooo many things we want to do in future games
  14. {Hello hello, thought I should introduce myself cause y'know, you all have read about me but never heard anything from me directly. To sum it up, Abvieon is an overthinking machine and I never really got to front much because he'd always second guess everything and hog control. All that really had to happen was for him to stop thinking about it so much, and bam. Having someone directly address me also helps a lot, and he wasn't really in a good situation for that to occur in the past. Soo... hi. I'm Alex.}
  15. Woah! And I thought a full game of Civ was long at 10 to 15 hours!
  16. for reference on why I'm posting so little currently 40 hours logged in Age of Wonders 4 and I have yet to complete our first game lol later ones won't be so long of course because most of that time was spent reading info panels, all the spell books, learning all the mechanics etc. but like, they will still be very long lol
  17. Did some Minecrafting today; I laid out the perimeter for the indoor pool room which is going to be done in a modernist style to contrast with the colonial style of the main part of the mansion. There will then be walkways on the sides and going up the hill with little out-buildings; those will be done up in a medieval-meets-gilded-age way, eventually leading to a tower on the rock overlooking the sea. Not sure what style I'll go for on that yet. Gosh I hope I don't sound pretentious talking like this. 😄 I kind of wonder if there has been/will be scholarly interest in Minecraft architecture, because I believe in addition to adapting real-world styles there are also distinct styles unique to Minecraft that don't have a real-world analogue. 🤔

  19. Yes And my friend made me watch them kill awakened one by doing 2 net damage per turn because they had an "infinite" that gave them tons of block but wasn't a real infinite because they had to end their turn a bunch, but each turn they could play flash of steel twice, which does 7 damage, so 14, and mercury hourglass does 3, so 17 damage a turn, and awakened one heals 15 hp a turn... it was a little more at first because they had trip to keep it vulnerable, but they exhausted trip by accident so that more than doubled the length that took, which it was already going to take a long time They ended up beating the heart by finding a sundial in the last shop so they could do a real infinite with a more damaging card. closer to a real infinite anyway, it required exhausting a limited amount of cards to continue I think lol
