QB2 August 12, 2012 Author August 12, 2012 The first one, when I selected it to view it, I knew what was coming and I was still disturbed by it. Yeah, in the manga, Kyubey gets like that when his sinister nature is revealed. Suddenly shading everywhere and his eyes go dead. It's really fantastic artistry. QB looks like the usual, relaxed version, obviously. The cute version. He does technically have the ability to give himself such a change, though, so I guess he can look like the creepy version if he wants to. Come to think of it, combined with the retractable teeth I gave him, he actually has the capacity to instantly go from cuddliest thing in the world to Junji Ito shit in a single motion... It's got a plot little kids probably wouldn't entirely follow, people committing suicide, getting their heads ripped off, etc, guns and explosives everywhere, and all the Witch Lairs look like bad acid trips. QB2 August 17, 2012 Author August 17, 2012 Well that's new - QB just removed a song that was stuck in my head. I was complaining about it, so he brought his tentacles up to my head, the rings glowed, there was a droning sound, and the song wasn't "playing" anymore. Or, well, it was playing but drowned out by the droning, and then that became the only sound. Which then faded out as well, leaving me with silence. Then it came back a little and QB gave it another irritated glow-and-drone to snuff it out again. It's interesting that he knew what to do... but I guess as a strategy, "drowning it out and drawing away your attention with a featureless wall of noise" is one I would have tried myself if I weren't so lazy. QB2 August 22, 2012 Author August 22, 2012 We never used a mindscape(wonderland) much during QB's creation, and we never used it at all once he was finished. Until recently! We just went in to test a few things that I thought would be easier to test in a mindscape than in real life. Interestingly enough, during this time, QB showed the ability to make modifications to my mindscape body, just by pointing and thinking. It was kind of against my will, too... he found it very amusing. Perhaps we could go even further with this and turn me into a small fluffy creature like him while I'm in there? That would be pretty cool, and perhaps it would give QB a reason to come back to the mindscape once in a while. As I said, we never use it, and that's mainly because QB doesn't like it.
