How do your tulpa/tulpae feel about your fast approaching and inescapable death?

Recommended Posts

The only thing in life that you can be sure of, is your own continued existence. I read that somewhere, but I couldn't find it with google. There's no reason to worry about death, because it will never be your reality. Do your best to avoid it, as having more time to live is probably preferable, but don't bother worrying about it. All that could possibly do is make the time you do have less enjoyable.

Death is a non-concept to me. I naturally live to live, I don't take risks that could seriously impact my health. So it's not worth thinking about in any seriousness. My tulpas feel the same as I do, but with more will and hopefulness to enjoy our time before we die. They've always been pretty selfless, so it seems about right that they don't have the slightest fear of death. But I mean, they probably care a lot more about *me* dying than I do. Scarlet thinks I'm killing myself by sitting at my computer so much, and not at the gym 24/7. But she doesn't sense immediate danger from it or she'd make me do something else.

Not much of a question for someone who considers death a "non-concept", I guess.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

T:"Non existence isn't as bad as finding out your existence was a lie. And given we have mostly atheistic views on afterlife, I'm calm knowing that we will disappear together"

Personally I'd be fine with a WH40K type of afterlife. Unless I'm gonna end up on the heretical side of things.

I cannot possibly agree more with that statement. My, you're pretty good, T.

Troy: So far, the body is young and doesn't seem in danger of dropping dead any time soon. I think we have plenty of time to live life together.

And when we do die, we are in Fade's head. We are an essential part of her collective even as we are separate. Unlike marriage, even in death, we cannot depart. So, one has little in the way of worries on said subject.

A queer soulbonding system with tulpamantic influences.

I'm not too concerned. Either there's an after life and we get to be a part of it, or there's not and we both cease at the same time. I'm just happy that I got to exist in the first place.

Still, while my host is in no chance of dying anytime soon, you never know if there is some or sort of undiagnosed issue, or if something you have no control over happens...

All I hope for is we get to see it coming, and say our goodbyes before it happens.
