FallFamily November 23, 2015 November 23, 2015 [Hail] Sounds like you got two walkin soulbonds, one insourced (Vyx) and another outsourced (Sans). Walkin meaning that they suddenly appeared for no apparent reason, though that does not mean they actually came into existence at that moment, just that that was when they became active and noticed. Insourced meaning they are based on/from/are a character you created. Outsourced meaning they are based on/from a character someone else created. This is a phenomena that happens. Making tulpas makes it more likely one will get walkins, both soulbonds and non. As for worrying about joining the camp of people who make a tulpa based on a character to be with said character, you are not in that camp (in fact, not that many people are since most hosts who make tulpas based to some degree or another on a character see that character as an initial template, not an end, and look forward to deviation from that template). They just walked in. Now, with Sans, yes, him entering your system would have been a low likelihood if you were not into Undertale, but you didn't go out of your way to have him appear. If they stick around (instead of walking out), do be prepared for differences. Don't expect your Sans to be Undertale Sans and you should be good. Sans, don't expect yourself to be Undertale Sans either. Go with the flow and see where the stream takes you. kovyxen November 23, 2015 Author November 23, 2015 Oh wow, thanks for writing all that for me. xwx <3 this actually makes me feel a lot better heh yeah, they're still hanging around. Sans and Vyx haven't been talking as much as the first two days but I hear them now and then, and I ventured to ask Sans what he's been up to and apparently him and Vyx get along pretty well. Sans indeed hasn't been entirely Undertale Sans, though he's told me to go learn some puns because he is in fact using my brain for his mental processes and so if i can't do it then he can't either, because he knows this already somehow. Vyx also hasn't been much like my original personality design for her either, but it's actually pretty amusing. it evens out the personalities of all my currently active thoughtforms; one is quiet and kind, one is loud and enthusiastic, the other is chill and encouraging. *Sans* hey thanks man, though i like Undertale Sans, Ana needs a more assertive voice in her head to combat the depression. Kovie is nice and all but she needs to learn to speak up a bit too, so i've taken to just talking louder and more often than the depressive thoughts. kovyxen November 23, 2015 Author November 23, 2015 i'm thinking some of her personality has been taken from my old best friend, who was just loud and funny. both her and Kovie are definitely deviating a notable amount from their original personality design, but i like them. :3 i'm not gonna make my character versions of them like this, but as tulpa i like their personalities as they've developed so far. kovyxen November 27, 2015 Author November 27, 2015 Mmmk, it's been five days now and they're still hanging around. Honestly, after day three I started talking to them because I was bored and they usually had fun things to say. Day six and they've both been an incredible help, Kovie's development has skyrocketed since their arrival and Sans has twice saved me from a depression episode. Vyx has kept me on top of keeping myself from falling into laziness, encouraged me to practice drawing more even though I was annoyed at my inability. Things like that, they're really so far just been completely wonderful so, I've officially decided to keep them. Everyone, welcome two new dorks to the forum. Yoo, internets.
