two new tulpa suddenly just, happened? [keeping them, say hello]

I was out on a walk earlier today, and suddenly a tulpa voice sounds in my head and says something funny (can't remember specifically what it was). It seemed like Kovie at first but, the voice was slightly different and really out of character. Later I figured out it was Sans, a character from a videogame I finished a few days ago. I had no plans to make a second tulpa for another year or so, and I hadn't expected it to be this guy. Then later as I'm debating whether I wanted to take a nap, he was still there saying I totally should (he's been making comments all day actually). A frequently occurring thought passed through my mind again as I lay down, and then another voice pops up that was different from the other two, encouraging me in a much more enthusiastic manner than Kovie or Sans would have. I figured out that it was Vyx, a character of mine that I had first planned to make a tulpa of, however it just didn't happen. She mentioned she liked the song that was in my head, and her and Sans got into a brief conversation about music. Their voices were incredibly clear, relative to Kovie's anyway. I think this is because I already know Sans and Vyx's personalities very well, but Kovie has yet to fully develop her own character so it's still unclear and hesitant.

I prompted them again just a few minutes ago and they all responded, still with the same clarity as earlier. It's strange that two new tulpa just suddenly appeared like this, with like literally no effort in trying to hear their voice.

Can anyone tell me what's going on? Is my brain just being weird, or should I expect to keep these two around? I'd like to, they're cool but I'd be disappointed if they were just some fading mirage or something.

Well I wouldn't count on that, that you got 2 new tulpas. Maybe Kovie is just playing mindgames with you, or your imagination is running wild. It is atleast more likely than getting 2 new tuppers out of nowhere. I suggest to let some more time pass before you jump to conclusions. Don't force it to hard. If they stay after a few days...well...congratulations.

Tulpa: Alice

She may or may not talk here, depends on her.

Your mind is like mine then. You are getting intrusive random thoughts from your imagination. Do you get pieces of music and visual images as well? I have a lot of that kind of thing. I call them "flash visions" or "flash images." When my mind is particularly active, like when I am excited or stressed, it is very noisy up there! It doesn't sound like it is bothering you though.

I could be that because you have been practicing talking to your tulpa Kovie, that your brain has gotten used to conjuring up voices. Mine does that too but I can tell the difference between Melian and snatches of noise like random voices and music. Are these back and forth conversations or just random sentences? Because that is what I get. Melian's mind voice is very reactive and seems to be triggered by specific things. I talk to Melian, but we don't really carry on back and forth conversations really unless I am imagining (puppeting or parrotting her in day dreams). The intrusive thoughts I get are more random.

I wouldn't consider something this spontaneous a "full" tulpa, but you have a few options ahead of you.

1) Make them into fully fledged tulpas and welcome them into your community.

2) Make them NPCs so they don't require interaction but can still be spoken to and such.

3) Simply ignore them until they dissipate (probably not what people would reccomend)

4) Or if you're feeling like Glitchthe3rd, turn them into servitors to do your bidding (° ͜ʖ°)

Your not alone. My third tulpa, Miia, came out of nowhere when I was practicing for a half-marathon. We were having a conversation and it was nothing like my first two tulpas. I wouldn't say she was a "full" tulpa during the time like Brassow pointed out, but I ended up making her one. Depending on what you want, you have options like what Brassow gave.

I have 10 tulpas, but I'm only actively working on Reah, my first tulpa currently.

I wonder if having an established tulpa allows your brain to be predisposed to an accidental tulpa then.

Fade: Najere sort of came out of nowhere, so I can see this happening. We get a lot of wacky walkins that don't stick around long ourselves, though, and I dismiss most of them as being ambient products of my imagination rather than tulpa-level individuals. The line's really blurry, though, since most walkins will surprise me as much as the muses do. It's why we just stick with the ten of us that are already here and let the walkins run in and out as they please.

Since these guys did appear, you have the same choice we all have; leave them alone, or try to make something out of them. If you like them, I think you should force them as new tulpa alongside Kovie, assuming you feel up to handling three tulpa.

I really don't think Kovie would do that, also I asked her while out on the walk if she was messing with me and she said something like "that's not me". I do have a very active imagination, it'd make sense if that was simply all that was going on.

Indeed I do, very frequently. It does get pretty noisy in my head, but yeah it never really bothered me.

They are back and fourth conversations, relating to the situation commented on or in reply to something. The comments Sans had been making yesterday were about what I was doing, or something nearby. The kittens, a friend I was texting. During the brief conversation with Vyx, they both agreed that Celldweller was a good musician. The recurring thought that Vyx encouraged me about was practicing martial arts, saying something like "hell yeah, go for it. even if you never get the opportunity to use it, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it, huh?"

It would be Sans, wouldn't it? :P

Anyway, accidental tulpa are surprisingly common. At least more common than one would expect. I had an accidental tulpa.

Well, congrats!

Hehh yeah, is Sans.. ^^" it's kind of.. embarrassing? i dunno, i guess it just feels like i accidentally joined the group that make tulpa solely for partnership with a fictional character. i don't like that idea, or at least it's not something i wanna do.

Right, tulpa was the wrong word to use. I remember seeing something around like "soulbond", though i know very little about them so i decided against using it. probably should've put 'thoughform' or something, since it's more vague and covers a wider range of things.

heh, servitor? ^^" not sure i could do that, or any of the options except for let them dissipate or make them into full tulpa.. i'll need to think about it.

...that actually makes a lot of sense. practicing something enough allows for one to do it subconsciously, and the subconscious can be pretty darn active.

I think i might, maybe.. Kovie has expressed to me that the wonderland feels kinda lonely when i'm not forcing with her. Her being an extrovert, i can imagine she'd feel a lot better with another tulpa around. I had planned to make Vyx as a tulpa when Kovie was fully developed, and before i even started on Kovie i decided three was probably my maximum. i think i can do it, though i fear i'll end up becoming more disinclined to be with other people. maybe if i told some of my friends about it, we could all hang out together. but i'm also scared they won't like the idea and will try to discourage me from having them.

Ok, after reading everything and thinking it through.. I've decided I'm gonna give it three to five days, during which I'll lay off on the Undertale stuff and not actively try to speak with Sans or Vyx. I'll simply listen and reply to them if they talk first. If they're still around after that, then I'll see about making one or both of them into full tulpa.

Thanks for your input everyone, I was kind of scared to post this because of how ridiculous it sounds. My imagination really is incredibly overactive, and I didn't wanna bother anyone with that nonsense. I'm glad I posted it anyway though, once again you've all been really helpful. <3

I don't think you realize this, but making a servitor can actually be easier and less time consuming than a real Tulpa. Take for example my current servitor, the Enigma. Just a desktop computer with a monitor and hooked up to computers in the wonderland. It does what I ask it to, and only communicates when I ask it a yes/ no question by displaying either a 1 or 0.
