Pioneer11 January 23, 2016 January 23, 2016 I started interacting with my Tulpa very soon in life, as I was still in kinder garden when I made him up. I remember flashes of my childhood before that time, and I was talking to myself pretty often. I usually played alone and talked to a would be imaginary friend. I wan’t properly imagining him and I didn’t feel his presence, so I knew I was alone, but I did it because the games were more fun like that. I was so little I suppose my mind wasn’t developed enough to create another character, as my own identity was fuzzy and unstable, and I didn’t quite manage to speak well enough to spike fluent conversations. However, I distinctly remember the “change” after he became clear in mind years later, especially with the aid of TV cartoons, and later books. So yeah, I was practically always talking to myself. “Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?” [progress report]

I guess... but I still prefer a sort of quiet and, for the lack of a better term, "solo" lifestyle. Sure, having friends is all fine, and I value my friends... doesn't mean I have to speak to them on a daily basis, though. ... or semi-daily. >_> I suddenly live together with my girlfriend. That's more than enough social interaction for me. ... no really. My friends started complaining that they see less of me lately... what can I say? I'm just not used to it yet. xD Greets, AG

Metatron January 24, 2016 January 24, 2016 Just keep at it and it will develop, much like any other skill. What also helps is when your tulpa has a distinct mental voice, as well as their own sort of vocabulary and sentence structuring. Then it becomes really obvious at that point who is saying what. Something we did in the beginning was to preface or end our statements with the other's name so that that way, we could make sure (more for me, really) who was saying what. "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." -Aristotle "When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive - to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love." -Marcus Aurelius “Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” -Neil Gaiman "The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried." -Stephen McCranie

This sounds pretty useful actually, thanks :) Currently working on Seren, so that she gets to shut me up frequently.
