It is possible. But if you go anywhere with visual imposition, you're going to end up with floating organs all over the place.

A wise man once said: 'Before judging a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? He's a mile away, and you've got new shoes.'

Graced are those who could avoid this phenomenon. This is perhaps the worst expression of evil in humanity's history, but who am I to judge?

It seems a bit odd to just work on the left leg or the right arm. You can do it, sure, but I don't see why you wouldn't just work on the whole body at once.

Also, try to make your titles a bit more descriptive so that people who have the same question can easily find these threads.

Yeah, but wouldn't that be kinda cool?

I've been there. It's not as cool as you guys think it is. Luckily it lasted for a few moments until my mind recalibrated to other things.

Okay. Well thing is for me I thought itd be easier for me to impose by parts because I have a very short attention span and have trouble focusing. So I thought I could do it more easily if I get each part done correctly and then just add on.

A body is very complex. Separate it into parts and it's easier to work with. Thats what my figure drawing teacher said.

That sort of thing would work better for just straight-up visualization, I think, where you'd separate the body parts and make each one as detailed as you possibly can, and then bring it all together. I haven't heard of anyone doing this for imposition, but if you decide to do it, be sure to let us know how it goes.

That's what I was thinking, body part by body part seems more like a visualization thing. With imposition you just ignore the parts you're not working on, but still kinda see them as there. Outline their form in the air with your finger and then when you've got an OK silhouette, walk around them to engage your 3D senses, and then once you've got an OK impression of their body you can start trying to see details.

Hi, I'm one of Lumi's tulpas! I like rain and dancing and dancing in the rain and if there's frogs there too that's bonus points.

I think being happy and having fun makes life worth living, so spreading happiness is my number one goal!

Alrighty. Im not entirely ready to impose yet just more out of curiousity. My tulpa is a bit fickle with her form and name. I went to calling her four different names within two months. We also keep debating on form. She also has an accent. Imma probably start a separate thread with this
