I need to read some more guides about tulpas and such. I feel kind of uninformed about this stuff still. I really like talking to Sam but maybe there's a better way I can do it? When she finally communicates to me, may be one of the happiest days of my life I think. ??

That there's a better way of doing what, exactly? Forcing isn't limited to just talking to your tulpa, decided sessions or not - there's personality and visualization work that can be done, but those are completely optional.

That there's a better way of doing what, exactly?

Focusing on her, going into the wonderland with her, making her form or visualizing it? I want her to choose most of her form and personality for herself, but I made a core personality for her; I choose 'supportive'

I'm kind of still nervous and confused about the whole thing...

Today I drew and painted the memory table I saw in our wonderland, as from memory, the shading did look somewhat like that in the wonderland but I couldn't really replicate it. I kinda want the shading to stay like that because it's not really a thing you can see in real life.

It's a lot bigger then this and there's a door underneath the box, and the cups are about three wide, 4 X 12 for the cups... yeah... Somewhat like that. And in another part of the room is a black couch, but that kinda blink in and out... I can't fully visualize my self in there so I wasn't able to actually try to sit on it while "in" there...

So scurd about this all gah what do I are do:exclamation::huh::exclamation::huh::exclamation::huh:

There's a guide list with a section on focus/concentration and one on visualization. Maybe you'll come across some exercises that might help you when it comes to clearing your mind, dealing with intrusive thoughts, etc., but you seem to be doing alright from what I've read of your report so far. Some would say that it's difficult to do anything incorrectly when it comes to tulpa creation, so try to relax. As long as you're confident in your work and have a healthy mindset, you'll be able to reach your goals.

Here are a few more comments that I wanted to make but never got around to it:

I have named my tulpa Sam, but I would like them to decide their form and personality for themselves. I'm not positive if that's a good idea...

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this. Personality work is optional, and even if you decide to make a base for it, it's likely that they'll deviate at some point in the future, which is why some people see this step as a nifty tool for narration and nothing more.

I again began talking to them at 4:20 something (at night) and I fell asleep... I hope that won't make them upset if they were listening.

Falling asleep is only a detriment to progress if you believe it is. I'm sure that your tulpa would understand that you're tired, so don't worry about it too much. It might be a good idea to force in positions that are slightly uncomfortable, but not enough to keep you from focusing on your tulpa.

Meh. it's day Five, this takes months to years to do.

There are people who have claimed to have results within weeks, days, and sometimes even hours. Everyone progresses differently, so don't lock yourself in the belief that it'll take a certain amount of time. If you do, it could potentially hinder progress for yourself.

I am so scared after reading it, and now feel like I may be doing this for the wrong reasons or am to young to do this...

As long as you think you're mature enough to take the concept seriously and understand the long-term implications, you should be fine. There's no age limit, and a bunch of teens have claimed to create tulpas without too many problems.[/hidden]

Day 9: As you can see above, I did some painting today. I was talking to Sam while doing so. I just talked about the painting I was doing. Tomorrow I'm going to try and read to her, I have a graphic novel that I've been excited to read and that seems like a great activity to do. I kind of want to make a mini schedule to work on in a week. Just a small tiny one that I can work with during a day. I liked painting with Sam, it was fun. She's a little Marshmellow! Love chu Sam!

Wow! Thank you so so much. That's really helpful! Thank you thank you thank you!!

Day 10: I know it's early for todays progress (3:39 PM), but I thought I should put it up as I just finished reading a Graphic Novel to Sam, which was fun. It was weird how I could read it to her but also get engrossed myself. I did assign areas in my head where she can press to answer yes/no questions, but I was surprised when I asked if she liked them and I felt two presses in both areas. I told her that, if it's maybe then she could press both parts of my head.

Left=Yes

Right=No

Both=Maybe (Or "Not Sure")

I believe this will be good for the mean time as she doesn't have a voice yet, but we can work on it. I think I may paint with her today, or draw. Last night while we were out Camping I kinda faded into our Wonderland... all I can remember from that was reorganizing the table to the way it looked because the cups were kinda scattered and the table was weird, and instead of the cups being 4 X 12, it was a 12 X 4 area, and only had Red, Orange, Yellow, and Green in the front. The colors faded back to the last cup. It was weird to me. I also remember these poles that I had formed and those just popped out of no where, but getting rid of it had somewhat of a transition, so I'm going to try and draw what I saw. The couch was still blinky and... well I am not so sure I went to go walk over to it actually... I might of but out of no where my foot started hurting real bad and I was pulled out of Wonderland. Like I said we were camping which is why I tried to do that. I would have updated the Day 9 post but I didn't have my computer and it feels better to put it right here.

Whatever else I do today you will see down there! Hi future me!!! I know you're reading this :P

~:: Update ::~

Well, I really didn't do anything but draw the disappearing pole I saw in Wonderland.

I also drew Sam but sadly I don't like it, and it doesn't seem like she would either. Perhaps I'll draw her again later with more variations in hair, clothes, and eyes. Not so sure what I'm going to do tomorrow. Probably try to make that bloody couch stop blinking in the wonderland, or read with Sam again. Any suggestions?

Day 11: Today I watched some videos with Sam, listened to some music with her, and drew with her.

I am trying to figure out her form or give her some ideas so I drew some hair styles and then the bracelets I saw on her.

Tomorrow I'm going to talk to her, and everyone will be gone so I may go into wonderland and get the couch to stop blinking as well as add something. Not sure what but SOMETHING.

I am glad that a day hasn't gone by where I don't take at least a minute to think about Sam. I am going out to the tent now! I think I'm going to try to fade into wonderland again. It's cooler there shockingly. I think I may work on the atmosphere. I remember trying to change the terrain, and even thought of a Minecraft looking area but I didn't like that idea and went back to a plain white base. I don't want to change it to much till Sam and I are talking and communicating together.

I wonder how she'd feel if I read some guides with her...

Day 12: Kind of just a me relax day, I didn't do much with Sam, but I did go into wonderland to try and make the couch stop blinking, which sadly was unsuccessful. I think I'll leave it like that until I figure out why it's like that or am talking to Sam. We'll see what the problem is. Tomorrow I am going to read a bunch of guides. When I go into wonderland it feels like I actually fall asleep and am lucid but I don't think this could be the case. I don't see my actual body when I'm "in" wonderland, I just see what's i there and then my limbs of course.

The stupid couches blinking is annoying..
