Day one: (Started on the 08/06/2016)

Alright I'm rather new to this subject of making Tulpa and from this I've thought about trying it myself. This is probably just going to be a short post depicting on how my progress is going (Please feel free to try to help me make my Tulpa with advice, I could really use it; even though I've looked through many guides. Feedback is appreciated!)

Well to start this off I followed what most guides said to do, I made a black box way of making a Tulpa as in thinking of a box and adding personalities to it whilst explaining what they are to the Tulpa. "You are caring, ect, ect."

From this I have spent about thirty or so minutes on this, I don't know if that's enough or if I should spend more time on the Tulpas personality. The main reason I didn't spend much time is due to the mixed messages in most guides with some saying spend alot of time and others saying to let the Tulpa make it's own personality off the base you give it. (If needed I can explain most of the traits I gave them.)

From this I only recently headed into the picturing stage of making them, so far I have the basic idea of how I wish for them to look (I followed what most of the guides all seemed to agree on which is having the Tulpa start out with no clothes on as most people say if you create the picture of them with clothes on they can't change their clothes later.) To give you lot a idea of my Tulpa so far I see them as a female 5'ft tall humanoid character, with bright blue hair that goes into a more darker shade in the hair roots which is very short. They are a rather slim person, wearing a light gray beanie, a red fleece with a zipper through the middle with it open to show a black shirt with their stomach/lowerbelly exposed with ripped jeans for her legs.

So far I have decided to name them Ruru. I don't know if there is any thing about naming them but if she decides to change it themselves I will accept it anyway.

Day two:

For today I expanded on creating a wonderland as many people call it, being a rather barren area of land with a large hill in the center, on the hill is a small wooden bench under a cherry blossom tree.

From now having created the wonderland I started to try to make my Tulpa have a scent, a smell as most guides say but I had quite alot of troubles trying to actually give Ruru a smell. So I gave up after doing this, knowing that alot of people skip this I thought it couldn't be that much of a important thing. I can always come back to this. After skipping smell I went onto creating emotion and movement for my Tulpa, taking advice from people and talking to her and thinking of the type of reactions she would make to my words. Which seemed to work really well, not to mention I can now view her with little effort, or so I know myself. It doesn't take as long to picture her.

One of the major things that happened today is that Ruru seemed to move on her own, without my input or me trying to move her. Which really surprised me and made me rather happy with my progress. (I do think it was her but if anyone can say anything otherwise it would be nice to know.) Her first movement was basically a small move of her head towards me.

This is as far as I have gotten now. Thanks for reading this anyway! Please leave a comment if you wish, either just saying something on your mind or anything to help me, any support is welcome!

As long as you have a general understanding of your tulpa's personality and feel comfortable with the work you've put in, you should be fine. There's probably no point in spending hours on traits if it begins to feel redundant, at least. Some of the guides aren't in sync, and that's fine - just do whatever feels right and, if that doesn't work out, experiment with some other methods to see if those work better.

It was something that you'd sometimes see in the older guides and threads, but it's completely false, so you're free to imagine your tulpa with clothes if you want. Visualizing them without clothes makes for some good practice, though.

Alright thanks for your feed back firstly, I'm going to be updating this post later (As in the main one). Just wanted to simply respond with a thank you as you cleared up any doubts I had about this, which seems to help me be able to visualize my Tulpa way better now, maybe due to it clearing up stress and such to do with the subject.

You might want to post new day updates instead of editing the first post as that will bump your thread making it easier for people to read your progress report (and to give you advice as well).

(Note this is kinda a re-upload from my original post as I got suggested to make new posts per-day, thanks to a guy called Timetheif.)

Again thanks to who ever is following this, and please do lead feed back!

Alright thanks for that, I just created a new thread re-posting the day two section thing. I gave you a mention in the start of the post, even if it doesn't matter I think it's nice to do.

Uh, I think you misunderstood me. XD

I meant, every time you want to add an update, add it as a reply to your original thread. It bumps your original thread without having to create a new one.

Just use the newreply.gif button at the right side of your screen when you want to add something new to your thread. Sorry, I wasn't specific enough this time!

I'm sure a moderator can merge both your original and this thread, and then you'll be able to post updates as replies to that thread, bumping it every time you add something but not creating an entirely new thread.

I don't think I have ever worked on tulpa smell to be honest. Then again, I'm pretty slow... hopefully you'll have a better pace on this. Good luck!

Yeah, it was kinda my mistake as well. I would remove this thread but I can't seem to be able to whilst on mobile so if any mods wish to do so please do; if you couldn't tell from my posts I'm rather new to this place so please forgive my mistakes.

Day three: (10/06/2016)

Today so far I did the usual thing when Tulpa forcing, spending short bursts (Twenty to forty minutes) through out the day trying to progress with my Tulpa. After yesterday I seem to have seen them move more without me forcing them to, or so I think myself (I don't know but since I don't know I'm going to just say it was her doing it).

As well as trying to progress in making my Tulpa be able to well communicate with me, I have sorta a fear of if it's me parroting or if it might actually be my Tulpa trying to talk with me. Being this early one I think it may be myself but I don't want to doubt it if it's actually my Tulpa trying to talk. I would really like any sort of input on this if anyone would be able to clear up my doubts.

Even if you're not unsure about these responses, treating the tulpa as sentient (the correct interpretation of the philosophy) is a good idea, and you can still place value in whatever is potentially coming from this tulpa. And since it's so early, I don't think that you should be too worried about whether or not you're getting responses. This is a personal experience that could take a long time, so try to focus on the journey and establish a solid base first.
