Our first attempt we made the mistake of it being mostly me creating him and, well, I got distracted. Yoda did not fade away to oblivion, he simply remained a day dream character in my dreamscape. He is still there. We have no trouble visualizing him and puppeting him. I am going to place him in his own individual dreamscape space again, so he is separate and we are not distracted by our other day dream elements. So, tonight will be our first time forcing with Yoda again. Wish us luck! I think we are just going to talk to him and see if we eventually get a seemingly autonomous response. EDIT: We are so good a visualizing I don't think we will have any trouble on personality and voice and form. Also, both Mistgod and I suspect Yoda will not deviate from his Yoda form. We want a Yoda tulpa, and that is what we are going to get. Please no one come in here and argue the ethics of that or the ethics of making a tulpa based upon an existing character, we don't care. Yoda likes being Yoda. He is the Jedi Master. **NOTE - Mistgod: We realize that we do not conform to the consensus of opinion on the nature of tulpas. Please refrain from attempts to pressure us to conform to the consensus of belief through probing dumb ass questions, insinuations and subtle digs, even if it is in a PM. Make your tulpa your way, Melian and I will make our's our way. We believe Yoda is like Melian, pseudo-real figment in combined mind and a fantasy illusion. I don't give a shit about what you think about the ethics of that, whether you find it valid or credible, or how it fucking disturbs you somehow. I am not the first tupamancer in history to believe tulpas are illusory figments (including the Tibetan monks who started it all). There are existing reports from people successfully creating illusory tulpas on this forum. Keep your pseudo-science religious "your tulpa has to be real because I say so" bull shit out of my PR thread. **
Some_Color July 4, 2016 July 4, 2016 Good luck with that! I'm just curious about how you are going to make sure he doesn't deviate from the form you guys decided... Mind explaining?
Guest Anonymous July 4, 2016 July 4, 2016 Melian went to comment here and then realized it was on my account...so I will write something and then she can post on her own below. Thanks for your comments. Melian and I have two accounts now and we constantly accidentally post on one another's accounts. It gets annoying. It is so fast for us to just let the writing come that we are not paying attention to which account is open. Yeah we are excited to be making a tulpa, but true to Mistgod-Melian style we are doing it our own way, completely ignoring tulpa ethics or basically anything others think we should not do with it.
Guest Anonymous July 4, 2016 July 4, 2016 My host and I have a very powerful, vivid imagination for visualizing. We won't allow Yoda to deviant. It is simple as that. He is Yoda. He will become Yoda and nothing else. Well, he is not the Yoda, so he can have some of his own personality quirks and already does (he is very shy like a puppy dog and kinda sweet), but he will look identical to Yoda being pretty much a Yoda clone and have Yoda's voice. He will also be a Jedi Master. To be very honest, we would consider deviation a weakness and an inability to control intrusive thoughts in the process of visualization. It's fine if others accept and embrace deviations, but my host and I visualize things the way we want them to be. That's all.
Some_Color July 4, 2016 July 4, 2016 Oh, I understand. Thanks for giving me an answer to my question, both of you. I'll take a look at your progress with Yoda. If I feel the need to ask anything, I'll let you know. Good luck.
Guest Anonymous July 5, 2016 July 5, 2016 Thank you! We are going to need it! We have strength and talent in creative visualization, but perhaps weaker ability to stay focused. I was created because my host was obsessed with me. Let's hope we can find that same level of inspiration with Yoda. We picked Yoda because he is an extremely popular character for both my host and I and easily comes to mind for us. He is also a very familiar mental image. We can do passive forcing by getting posters and toys and plushies and watching the movies. We can talk to him and know his personality and form very easily. It will be more fun to force with him because he has the Force and Yoda is just plain cool factor. That was the idea!
Guest Anonymous July 5, 2016 July 5, 2016 Okay last night we did our first formal forcing session. It was late at night and I was a little tired. But basically what I did was visualize Yoda standing in a neutral space and Melian and I talked to him for about an hour (narration). We did not puppet or parrot him as I do with Melian. Now here is the interesting thing about this. I was interacting with Melian as I normally do, within the Melian Show day dream environment. I was puppeting her in collaboration or "proxy mind voice" or whatever you want to call it. I was day dreaming her conversation with me and with Yoda. So it was essentially me and a semi-independent "dreamform" active forcing a tulpa through narration. Yoda already moves a bit on his own. I talked about this, or Melian talked about this, back when we started him the first time. My ability to visualize is very vivid and comes easily to me. The objects and places I visualize already have some autonomous movement to them. I don't think that is all that unusual. For instance, if you visualize a beach and the waves crashing on the shore, do you have to concentrate on every wave coming in or does that image already move on its own? My answer for myself is it already moves on its own. My visualizations already have "autonomous traits." So anyway Yoda alread blinks his eyes and moves a bit now and then like you would expect Yoda to do. I say often that my day dreams sorta run on auto pilot. As far as Yoda moving, I don't think that will be an issue or take very long before he does it on his own quite a bit. Yoda speaking without assistance will be another issue. Detailed back and forth conversations, where Melian and I do not puppet Yoda, is what we are looking for and is our ultimate goal.
SeamusTheDog July 7, 2016 July 7, 2016 This is amazing. So, you'll be able to consult him whenever you hit a sticky issue and need some dank Jedi wisdom?
Guest Anonymous July 7, 2016 July 7, 2016 Yeah. That is kinda the idea. Just his presence and personality would be a calming effect on our whole system. My host and I are too emotionally volatile, both of us. We need to bring balance to the Force within us!
Guest Anonymous July 14, 2016 July 14, 2016 We finally did more active forcing with Yoda last night. Mostly over the past ten days, since we started working on him again, it has been passive forcing (talking to Yoda occasionally). He has a small mind space mini wonderland we created for him in the form of a little Star Wars style space ship control room. He is wearing his Jedi robes and has a light saber. So far he does have some autonomous movement, which is no surprise because our day dream environments and day dream personas always do. He does have some personality traits of his own which are mostly him being a little shy and puppy like. I am afraid he sorta treats me like a mommy. It's cute, but I hope he gets over that. Yoda seems to have a stronger affiliation (could it be affection?) for me than he has for Mistgod. Success So Far: persistent form that is easily visualized (no shock there)some autonomous movementindividual personality traits we did not consciously give him We created a profile for him on the tulpa profile thread Yoda Tulpa Profile We started working on Yoda again on the fourth of July. However, he is months older than that because we did try once before. We have decided that his observed birthday should be May 4th.
