While we control the body, we see what one would expect, the body's reflection in the mirror. The only slight catch is that Violet sees faint geometric shape line overlays (triangles, quadrilaterals, etc.) on top of things approximating their apparent geometry (imprecise lines away from where she directly looks at but more precise right where her focus is). When she looks in the mirror, she sees those on the body in addition to other things in the mirror.
