Lula August 5, 2012 August 5, 2012 A question to all those out there with fully-imposed tulpae. Is your tulpa affected by environmental stimuli? E.g., its windy, does your tulpa's hair move? its a very hot day, does your tulpa sweat? You've just been running, does it breath heavily? If it doesn't do these things do you think that if such responses to these stimuli were included during tulpaforcing/creation, your tulpa would undergo the aforementioned actions when appropriate? Kadoh August 5, 2012 August 5, 2012 Sorry, I don't have a fully imposed tulpa. But I has heard accounts of Tulpae being able to fly without wings, and stuff like that. So you would probably have to make it so that happens during visualization. Good question My opinions are all subject to change.
glitchthe3rd August 5, 2012 August 5, 2012 Yes, though I suppose it only happens after they've been imposed. "Science isn't about why, science is about why not?" -Cave Johnson Tulpae: Luna, Elise, Naomi My progress report

Guest August 5, 2012 August 5, 2012 It's all about making it happen in the visualization, as Kadoh also points out. So yes, my tuppers are affected by the environment.
Lula August 6, 2012 Author August 6, 2012 Another thing, when your tulpa walks, is there a sound you can hear? ~Remember the dead, but fight for the living. ~La rage du peuple ~Ice cream is a feeling Tulpae: Name: Frostia Form: Light and dark blue pony, white hair, styled in MLP:FiM fashion
Kadoh August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 Hmm, that's a good question, considering that different surfaces make different noises. I suppose your tulpa could just mirror sounds made by you My opinions are all subject to change.
QB2 August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 QB's pit-pattering pawsteps are something I've grown accustomed to hearing every day. As for the original question, he usually stays "perfect", with all unwanted environmental effects like rain and dirt not even touching him, but he can be affected if he wants. I remember once, when I was waiting for a bus, staring out at the rain from a canopy, he was out there sitting on a lamp post getting totally drenched and loving it, like it was a relaxing shower. He never sweats or breathes heavily though, his energy is completely boundless. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
Lula August 6, 2012 Author August 6, 2012 During visualization did you give him a pit-pat sound? Or did it just come naturally? ~Remember the dead, but fight for the living. ~La rage du peuple ~Ice cream is a feeling Tulpae: Name: Frostia Form: Light and dark blue pony, white hair, styled in MLP:FiM fashion
QB2 August 6, 2012 August 6, 2012 During visualization did you give him a pit-pat sound? Or did it just come naturally? I guess it came naturally? Either that or I figured it was such a basic thing that I added it subconsciously. Either way, I can't imagine that sound not existing now. As I've said before, going for runs is one of the big things we do together, and we've been doing it since before he could talk... so I've gone hours with no consistent sounds but those pawsteps and his voice. And the sound changes depending on what sort of surface he's walking on, since that was one question I don't think I covered. The above post does not contain facts. q2's the host, QB's the tulpa.
