optimusjamie August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 Not long after finding out about tulpa.info, I remembered a book I read a few years back called Bang, Bang, You're Dead by Narinda Dhami, about a girl who suspects her twin brother is behind a hostage situation at her school. She goes through her memories, building a profile of her brother and how he became the sort of person who holds classrooms hostage. The twist at the end is that her brother died not long after they were both born and the brother she imagined him growing up to be was only her imagination, but she was convinced he was real and acted on the basis that he was. Does that sound a bit like a Tulpa? My blog
Phi August 9, 2012 August 9, 2012 No, just sounds like she had a delusion about her dead brother taking people hostage.
