eo_tulpo August 13, 2012 August 13, 2012 Can anyone's tulpa speak more than one language? I'm planning on teaching mine a few, and I was wondering if anyone else has done so. the the the the
Guest Anonymous August 13, 2012 August 13, 2012 I do believe a Russian guy asked the same thing, and that they can speak any language you do.
Phi August 13, 2012 August 13, 2012 Yes, a tulpa can be multilingual. I wouldn't trust it to translate for you though, because if you don't know the language then they might just put a bunch of words that sound Japanese, for example, and then stick in an actual word that you do know the meaning to. Like "rabi no gofa wa omoshiroi". I have no idea what rabi or gofa mean, if anything, but no, wa, and omoshiroi are actually Japanese. The tulpa may or may not be aware that it's just stringing together Japanese sounds with a few actual words here and there. If you know the other language and teach it to them, they will be able to speak it.

By the way, "rabi no gofa wa omoshiroi" means something along the lines of "The rabbi's gopher is interesting." the the the the
TulpaCouple August 13, 2012 August 13, 2012 My fiance wants to learn a few languages and have his tulpa as a study buddy. And any language Nate knows, Luke will have access to anyway. I think in general learning with a partner is helpful, so it would be useful to learn a language with your tulpa.
Guest August 16, 2012 August 16, 2012 My tuppers know both Danish and English, as do I. They primarily speak English, though.
Citizen Anon August 16, 2012 August 16, 2012 I plan on learning Japanese with my tulpa. Read as: I plan on having Rosetta Stone loop through my headset while I sleep and have my tulpa teach it to me later Name: Lyra Form: http://i.imgur.com/JjMxK.jpg Sentience: Emotional responses, occasional brief vocalization Currently doing: Personality & narration
konrad13 August 16, 2012 August 16, 2012 I also plan to learn languages with my tulpa. My list of languages are: Spanish, French, Swedish, Russian, Czech, Japanese, Arabic, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Hungarian, Esperanto, Latin and Greek (long ass list, I know...). I may extend it later, but I view those as essential. Also, I hate Rosetta Stone. Tried it in high school, never worked. Prefer Instant Immersion mostly due to how cheap they are, but also that I've had somewhat better results with it. Also, I'm monolingual and hate it. "rabi no gofa wa omoshiroi" Siggyd Me: Hey, say something for this thread! Koharu: Yay, cupcakes! mfw there are no cupcakes. Sentience? Yes. Brilliance? Ehh...
