Is it possible for a host to die in wonderland?

Recommended Posts

No, just like you won't die in real life if you die in dreams. You can ''die'' there, but it won't translate to real life.

Your "Wonderland" is just imagination-space your tulpa and you share. The only way it's different from daydreaming is the tulpamancy connotations, a lot (but not nearly all) tulpas consider their "wonderland" their home. Mine don't, it's literally just a conduit for interacting with each other for us, but some do. And no, tulpas can't "die" there either.

Hi! I'm Lumi, host of Reisen, Tewi, Flandre and Lucilyn.

Everyone deserves to love and be loved. It's human nature.

My tulpas and I have a Q&A thread, which was the first (and largest) of its kind. Feel free to ask us about tulpamancy stuff there.

Whatever happens to us in the wonderland won't happen IRL.

We feel way less the pain in the wonderland, and we can only "die" with extreme conditions (like super high temperatures or something like that). But we'd reappear in front of our house in the wonderland.

Well, theoretically speaking, yes. A host can "die" whilst in their wonderland. However, as others already pointed out, you can't die in real life from that. What's more, death in wonderland isn't permanent. If the hosts dies in wonderland, they can just re-emerge there.

In Michen's case, whenever intrusive thoughts give an unwanted bad result, he simply rolls back time by just a little bit, up to right before the intrusive thought kicked in. Whenever he is on the verge of death, he simply uses his will to live on in his mind to simply stay at hanging by a thread. Whether in mindscape or in dreams, he just can't die because he wholeheartedly refuses to acknowledge that outcome.
