I see that there was (at least) one other topic involving this, but it didn't get too many answers.

If you aren't aware of what the Ganzfeld experiment is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganzfeld_experiment

When I first read about this, I immediately thought: "I bet this would be a very productive way to force".

Since it takes your focus away from your sensory input, I imagine it would probably make it much easier to visualize, than just taking away the auditory stimulation.

Also, this method has been used to help prove the presence of ESP in people, so I can't help but feel that it would also be useful in feeling your tulpa better, and so forth.

Has anyone tried this while forcing?

Does this seem like it could be a useful thing to try?

Either way, once I can find out a way to shine a red light on myself, while in a comfortable position, I am going to try this.

If any of you are interested, I can let you know how it went.

"If this can be avoided, it should. If it can't, then it would be better if it could be. If it happened and you're thinking back to it, try and think back further. Try not to avoid it with your mind. If any of this is possible, it may be helpful. If not, it won't be."

Ha, I was actually thinking about this very same thing the other day, sitting in the dark while blasting white noise into my ears.

I dunno if it'd be useful or not, it really depends on whether or not it's possible to control the hallucinations the experiment is supposed to cause.

Anyway, you can buy red lightbulbs at wal-mart, they're for plants or something. Or just colored party lights. Not sure which.

Tulpa's name: April

Form: Human female

Working on: Stuff

Partying with plants~

And tulpas, too, but that's a given.

An abstract, all-encompassing love is still a love, nonetheless.
