Thank you all so much! Yeah the emerald and lapis blocks were both perfect for what I needed, and really Simmie deserves a statue made out of valuable minerals!

You are so nearly 100% correct. Blue has long been my symbolic color; in light of my transition I was thinking of starting to use purple or violet, but that's undecided for now, so blue it is, at least for the time being. And James' color is red--your orange was very very close! We've got the whole RGB thing going on. If we ever had another child--an idea we've tossed around--she would almost certain get yellow.

Thank you! Doing the highlights is one of my favorite parts of that kind of drawing, it really makes things pop.

I was particularly proud of that choice. The light gray stained glass gives it a subtle touch and the glowstone gem creates a nice effect at night.

Today was a very active day art-wise, because I made another. This is one of my favorite images of Simmie that I've created in a while. I decided to forgo to usual thick outlines I use and I think it worked well in this instance. It's also one of the most close-up images of Simmie I think I've ever created.
