Going to keep our scribbles and doodles here I think.

 

Here's a storyboard panel of a scene Jaina had in mind. She had the idea of that direction trick where it's a slow motion clip but the camera pans in real time. If I can find an example I'll post it. She said a comic panel will work.

Happy Jaina is generally her emote. She also likes to be holding something. Coffee, soup, popcorn, a hamburger. Whatever fits the mood. Doesn't have to be food either. It could be a cartoon heart, a book, maybe a pillow. Some sort of tool to emote with.

 

Jaina goes usually for a more realistic look like her Skyrim picture but she Chibi Jaina sometimes too.

This is our new fur baby. Viktor, the dire husky. Lol. I am awful at proportions and scale so oops, accidental bear dog. 😄 I got lazy with his rear paws and didn't know what to do with them. Dogs kinda sit like that. Also one of better freehands of Jaina without reference. Pardon the shower hair, I was going for more wavy.

Yea, that too! 😄 I had to actually pose a bit to get an idea where the waist and legs and hips all go. I'm the worst at humans. 

 

He tries. He's getting better though. Viktor is big boy *hugs and shakes him* My two favorite guys 🥰. When he gets older can we ride him?

 

Wait, he gets bigger?!?! I thought he was an adult already. 

 

I would assume so. 🤷‍♀️ 

 

That's going to be so much kibble...forget the slim jims, he's gonna need slabs of steak for treats. 😅😰

 

Anyways, that's our boy. Might bring him around from time to time. Going to be an excuse to go walking in the woods more. I know we've all got cabin fever.

Thanks! 😊 The name is from one of the rng doggos we got in a colony. Yet another case of rimworld slowly taking over my life. 😅

Broke out the stylus pad on Paint3D. I feel like it's less control than pencil on paper but so much better than just the mouse cursor. Not 100% satisfied but I somehow managed to make him look more attractive than me.

 

Jaina: Oh stop! You're fine and you did a good job. It's a fine start to my birthday present. 🤗😚

 

I went with grey for a background so my eyes weren't bleeding from the white while I draw. Also the fill tool kept bleeding over the lines so I only used it for the eye whites and kept my skin grey.

 

It makes you look like a Doug cartoon character. 😊 I love it! You even have the Doug nose! 😄

 

Well, I think she liked it so I'll do another when I get more confident. Luckily I proposed to a girl with low standards.

I can relate, there are no bad drawings when your host does it.

 

This reminds me of a cartoon, maybe Family Guy, but take it as a compliment.

😅 Thanks. No offense to cartoon artists, I'm going to assume they do the style on purpose, but I should stick to and lean into simple/cartoon style. I DEFINITELY require a reference for anything approaching realism.
