That's the whole point of narrating, in case it wasn't obvious. This also means that acknowledging your tulpa's existence in any way helps them to grow. Even just moving my laptop to the side a bit so my tulpa can sit next to me and read at the same time helps when I'm not actively narrating. wow, i never thought of all the little stuff like that! xD Thanks, I'll pay more atention to stuff like this in the future. :) It is not what you look at that matters, but what you see. -Henry David Thoreau ;)
Frosty September 5, 2012 September 5, 2012 Because no one has made mention of this, I suppose I will. A tulpa is a sentient thoughtform that you create and that shares a mind with you. Ever ask your mom for a puppy and she said that it would be a lot of responsibility? Because you have to feed it, play with it and clean up after it? Well this is kinda like that. Basically what I'm saying is this: Making a tulpa requires a LOT of time and focus. It isn't something for you to do for a month, get bored of it and just drop. You are creating another life (in a sense) and that life is your responsibility, from the day you make one til the day you die. Oh, did I mention that if you make a tulpa you'll probably have it for life? Well I just did. My point: don't start making a tulpa unless you are ready to finish. Leopard September 6, 2012 September 6, 2012 I've heard that children "accidentally" create tulpas when they have imaginary friends. Also, I'm rather far along into the process and I'm currently fifteen years old.
