I accidentally created a tupla today and I don't understand why this is happening. My first tupla was just created a week ago. Today, I was just surfing the internet and happened to see a picture of some remarkable fantasy character and boom, when I woke up I started talking to my tupla and I felt a presence of another person. She took the initiative to talk to me? And gave me some weird advice, I didn't force her personality, her personality seems to "learn" from some of my memories and by miraculously this miracle happened. But I began to fear this, that I could not control the random act and turn my life upside down. I really need solid advice on this. Thanks for watching.(sr for bad en)

Changed Title to be more specific

Just because a thoughtform talks to you, does not make it a tulpa. Think about it, you have plenty of dreams with characters who talk and act on their own; it's not too hard for the brain to simulate the actions of a separate person. A tulpa (although the definition has been argued) is a persistent, self-thinking thoughtform that was intentionally created. Obviously things like walk-ins exist, but in general they only happen after a very strong desire for one. Otherwise, the thoughtform will be forgotten and just go back to being you.

Main thing is to just be calm, interact with the new thoughtform if you want. Whether she sticks around is for you and your subconscious to decide. It may take a few days, but usually these things sort themselves out.

Slipper (cringelord host) and Mordecai (the brain gremlin).
