Guest May 28, 2012 May 28, 2012 I'm more implying that 10 years old is probably too young. Plus, the common consciousness is silly. Any reason in particular? If I have to tell her that she shouldn't do this (and she may not listen anyway), I'd like a reason. Also, read my previous post. I'm not thinking about creating a "common consciousness". I'm simply hypothesizing that our tulpae may manifest subconscious knowledge about each other that we didn't know, giving us a greater connection.
Guest May 28, 2012 May 28, 2012 At 10 her brain isn't fully developed. Not an insult to her--just scientific fact. She might not be able to do it for long and may have a hard time focusing. If that's all then there's no need to worry. She can handle the concentration.

For a reason to why she shouldn't do it, refer to Gldeon's post above.
G|d30n May 28, 2012 May 28, 2012 Do we agree that energy is pure bullshit? Please say yes. By the metaphysical/new age understanding, yes, it is bullshit. There is something to the practical concept of chi, but still the spiritual explanation is a primitive misunderstanding, so in short, yes we can agree. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
ThatOneGuy May 28, 2012 May 28, 2012 Do we agree that energy is pure bullshit? Please say yes. Yes, energy in the sense of the word anyways. It's just what most people happen to call it; I don't actually think it's energy of any kind following the scientific definition of energy. It's a silly name for a rather unknown and untested thing in this day and age. Orange juice helps with concentration headaches.

But if our tulpae have access to our respective subconsciousness minds, why wouldn't they have knowledge of things that we've subconsciously but never consciously noticed about each other? Like I said, she can handle the concentration. I can hypnotize her if the need arises even.

I'm just gonna wish you good luck.

Just hypnotizing your ten year old daughter so she can create an advanced imaginary friend I read about on the Internet. I think my sister is the perfect companion, so I'm pretty stoked about staring our subconscious constructs together." Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
Lulu May 28, 2012 May 28, 2012 No, not even magicfag. Tulpa making is an individual sort of thing, no matter what you do. The best one could do is provide either silence/encouragement. I know of a magicfag guide that goes into detail on how to make one with a group of people. The site it was on is gone, but I saved the html if anyone's interested

But, you know...magicfags. Progess on my tulpa, Lauren. Lauren's survey and stylometric test.
